- Cassie Nightingale: Uh, Sam, um...
- Dr. Sam Radford: Yeah?
- Cassie Nightingale: At the festival you said we needed to talk.
- Dr. Sam Radford: Okay, um, I wanted to talk to you about that night at your store.
- Cassie Nightingale: After the party.
- Dr. Sam Radford: I wanted to kiss you, and I thought maybe you wanted to kiss me, too? I need to know if I'm imagining this thing that seems to be between us.
- Cassie Nightingale: You're not.
- Dr. Sam Radford: Good.
- [Cassie sets a Help Wanted sign in her window]
- Abigail Pershing: You looking for help?
- Cassie Nightingale: In a way, yeah.
- Abigail Pershing: Well, you know who has a great employee? Stephanie. Have you noticed the Bistro's business has doubled since I started?
- Cassie Nightingale: Yeah, everyone does love to eat there.
- Abigail Pershing: But they love it more since I started working there. I've clearly built up her business and made it thrive.
- Cassie Nightingale: Well, that's... one way to look at it, but it's not the only way to look at it.
- Abigail Pershing: I have a lot of regulars. People would eat somewhere else if it wasn't for me.
- Cassie Nightingale: Yes, you do have a loyal following.
- Abigail Pershing: They are loyal. If I left, they'd leave too.
- Linda Wallace: And I'm glad that you and I agree. You take care of your family and I'll take care of mine.
- Linda Wallace: Oh, come on, Sam. You can't keep giving me the silent treatment.
- Dr. Sam Radford: I can try.
- Linda Wallace: Do you remember what our therapist said?
- Dr. Sam Radford: "I don't accept credits cards, only checks and cash."
- Mayor Martha Tinsdale: You don't squeeze in the elected mayor of this town who's experiencing a dire medical emergency.
- Linda Wallace: Hey, you know, we could ride over together.
- Dr. Sam Radford: We could... but we won't.
