- [Oscar tells Jane Doe that she needs to get closer to Agent Weller]
- Oscar: We need you to get closer to Weller.
- Jane Doe: What do you mean closer?
- Oscar: We didn't anticipate him getting back together with Allie.
- Jane Doe: You want me to break them up?
- Oscar: We need you to be the one person he trusts the most.
- [first lines]
- Armored Guard #1: [the two guards hear the beat box music from the back of the armored truck] What is this noise? You know we can hear that crap back here.
- Armored Guard #2: Seriously man, turn it off...
- Armored Guard #2: [when the driver slams on the brakes] What the hell!
- [Agent Weller wishes Jane Doe happy birthday]
- Kurt Weller: Happy birthday.
- Jane Doe: What?
- Kurt Weller: It's yours. Taylor's birthday.
- Jane Doe: Oh, I - I didn't even...
- [Allison Knight brings Agent Weller some breakfast]
- Allison Knight: I brought you breakfast. Poppy seed muffin and cortado, just the way you like it.
- Kurt Weller: Better be.
- [Allison Knight asks Agent Weller to come over for dinner]
- Allison Knight: I was thinking about being ambitious and cooking.
- Kurt Weller: Whoa! Really? After last time.
- Allison Knight: That fire was not entirely my fault. Someone got me a little distracted...
- Kurt Weller: [Weller laughs] Yeah! You tried to heat up a pizza inside the box, inside the oven.
- [Agent Patterson informs the team about Jane's next related tattoo crime]
- Jane Doe: Which tattoo is this connected to?
- Patterson: So, this... square and diamond design is an exact match with the truck logo. And I couldn't figure it out, but the symmetry made me think of mirror images, which led to geometric shapes...
- Kurt Weller: Can we get back to the robbery.
- Edgar Reade: [Reade sarcastically comments] Hold on a second, I want to see how she cracked it. It might inform the case.
- [Agent Zapata and Agent Reade arrive to Sam Lee's apartment building]
- Tasha Zapata: 1-5-7, unit 5. Fifth floor.
- Edgar Reade: Always got to be a walk-up.
- [Dr. Borden gives Agent Patterson advice about what to do with her dinner reservations]
- Dr. Borden: I think you should go.
- Patterson: What?
- Dr. Borden: To the dinner. I think you should go. Instead of trying to bury yourself in your work and forget about David, why don't you take the night to celebrate him? Go to that restaurant, have a glass of wine, toast David and all the wonderful memories you have with him.
- Patterson: I - I don't know. That just seems... I mean, he's gone.
- [Dr. Borden tells Agent Patterson about the grieving process she has over David's murder]
- Patterson: I'm supposed to move on, right? I mean, that's... the healthy thing to do?
- Dr. Borden: Well, like I said, there's no right or wrong way to grieve. Sometimes allowing yourself to indulge in memories of a loved one is the best way to get closure.
- Patterson: [Patterson sighs] Should I be paying you for this or...
- Dr. Borden: [Borden smiles] Well, let's just call this two friends talking, hmm?
- [Agent Zapata makes a comment to Agent Reade about his relationship with Sarah Weller]
- Tasha Zapata: So, Reade, is this the end of the great bromance?
- Edgar Reade: What are you talking about?
- Tasha Zapata: You and Weller. Well, clearly, the Sarah thing is getting in the way, so you guys got to sort it out. You're making it weird for the whole team.
- Edgar Reade: Sarah and I broke up last night.
- [Agent Patterson tells Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair to look into Jane Doe's case]
- Patterson: We look at the connections between the players and the cases we've solved. The government institutions, even the locations of the crimes. There must be some clue that points us to who did this to Jane and why. But right now, my entire team is stretched thin just investigating the tattoos as they come up.
- Bethany Mayfair: You need more people.
- Patterson: I need a lot more people.
- Bethany Mayfair: The director's looking for cuts, not added expenditures.
- Patterson: I understand, but this is the most important case that the bureau has.
- Bethany Mayfair: I agree... but everybody feels that way about their cases.
- [General Sheridan tells the FBI team his motive for selling chemical weapons]
- Kurt Weller: Your job was to destroy these chemical weapons.
- General Mark Sheridan: Our enemies have chemical and biological weapons. You think that we're setting an example by burning our stockpile, singing 'Kumbaya'? It's delusional! We need to maintain the stockpile.
- [General Sheridan continues to tell the FBI team his motives]
- Kurt Weller: Do you realize how selfish your actions are?
- General Mark Sheridan: I lived through Iraq. I saw innocent lives destroyed by chemical weapons, kids with horrible deformities, entire villages wiped out because Saddam knew he could get away with it, that we wouldn't retaliate. That can't happen again.
- [Jane Doe asks Agent Weller if he's okay after she had to stab him with a Sarin gas antidote]
- Kurt Weller: I'm fine. I'm sore from where you stabbed me.
- Jane Doe: Sorry, next time I'll just let your internal organs melt.
- [Agent Zapata tells Agent Reade what he should do about Sarah Weller]
- Tasha Zapata: Look... I know this is none of my business. I think you're making a mistake with Sarah. You were really happy with her. Like, happier than I've ever seen you. If I were you, I would hold on to that.
- Edgar Reade: You really think it's that easy? You ever wonder why all of us are single? We chose this job for a reason, that's who we are. We're not meant to go home to happy wives with husbands and kids. It doesn't work that way with us.
- [Jane Doe thanks Agent Weller for the necklace he gives her]
- Jane Doe: Thank you. It's so beautiful.
- Kurt Weller: It's my pleasure. It belonged to your mom. She bought it when you were born... to match your eyes.
- Jane Doe: How did you...
- Kurt Weller: After she passed away, some of her things were sold. I knew how much that necklace meant to her, so I bought it. Now it's yours.
- [Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair questions Agent Reade about his odd behavior]
- Bethany Mayfair: I think we're wired the same. Even as a young agent, everybody knew me as a straight shooter.
- Edgar Reade: I'll take that as a compliment.
- Bethany Mayfair: The only time I strayed away from my instincts was when I was scared. Now, I don't know what you're dealing with, but I think you need to tell me.
- [Allison Knight tells Agent Weller that he has to stop caring for everyone]
- Allison Knight: This thing that does have to stop though... is you always worrying about everyone and everything.
- Kurt Weller: What are you talking about?
- Allison Knight: I saw that look on your face when I brought you that muffin this morning. That was not a normal human reaction when the girl you like brings you breakfast.
- Kurt Weller: I was genuinely happy to see you. And the muffin.
- [Allison Knight talks to Agent Weller about the sex being good]
- Allison Knight: We're having fun. We haven't had a fight. The sex is good.
- Kurt Weller: Whoa, back it up. What do you mean... 'good'?
- Allison Knight: [Allison chuckles] Okay, great. The sex is great.
- Kurt Weller: Okay. Keep - Keep going.
- [as the two laugh]
- [Allison Knight tells Agent Weller about them two being great together]
- Kurt Weller: What's your point?
- Allison Knight: My point is... I don't want you to sabotage something because it's going great.
- Allison Knight: [when the two start to kiss and get undress] Okay? Now throw me around like a rag doll before the Thai food gets here.
- Kurt Weller: Yes, ma'am.
- [Oscar tells Jane Doe what he really wants with her]
- Oscar: We're all making sacrifices.
- Jane Doe: What 'sacrifices' are you making?
- Oscar: You think this is what I want? We were... Do you have any idea how hard it is to meet with you and not touch you and not tell you that I love you? You think I want you getting closer to him?
- Jane Doe: I don't know what you want.
- [when the two start to kiss and get undress]
