A Petty Officer, accused of killing an ex-girlfriend, is set free on mistrial. Professing to be innocent he asks NCIS to investigate and if necessary court martial him. Bishop and her husband have marital problems.
In order to clear his name, a petty officer volunteers to be court martialed if NCIS agrees to conduct its own investigation after his murder case is dismissed due to a mishandled warrant. Also, Bishop and Jake discuss their marital problems. Jamie Bamber returns.
A Naval Petty Officer is charged with murdering his ex-girlfriend but he denies it. But before he could go to trial, the case is dismissed because key evidence was excluded because of an error on the prosecutor's part. The man through his lawyer Carrie Clark meets with Gibbs and wants NCIS to investigate the crime he was accused of. It seems that his wife left him and plans to refuse him access to his child. And his shipmates are giving him the cold shoulder. He wants his innocence to be proven. Gibbs tells them to look into it and Tony knows the detective who investigated and he gives Tony all the info they have. They evidently discover the Petty Officer lied about something making them doubt his claim of innocence. Bishop is having some problems in her marriage.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
