Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • The episode includes a large-scale space battle between the Rebel fleet and an Imperial squadron that includes the implicit deaths of a number of Imperial TIE pilots.
  • Chopper clobbers the Imperial freighter captain twice. No blood is shown, and the captain suffers less injury from both assaults (given that in the first he was rapidly whacked by Chopper's windmilling arms and then given a pretty severe electric shock, and in the second beaten unconscious by Chopper's replacement leg -- he is explicitly shown to still be breathing) than he realistically would in real life from being hit repeatedly by relatively massive chunks of metal.
  • The captain shoots A5 twice graphically, and the scene is played as if A5 were mortally wounded and dying. He's later established to have been repaired by Sabine.
  • A squad of Imperial Stormtroopers are shown to be marooned in space when Chopper tricks them into the cargo module and jettisons it.
  • Otherwise, much bloodless gunplay

Profanity

  • None, other than an unintelligible implicit profanity from Chopper, given A5's vitriolic response.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is the theme of willing abandonment -- the Ghost crew leaves without Chopper and Hera implies that they wouldn't be coming back for him.
  • The shoplifting of the leg is treated as merely a comical event with no lasting consequences.
  • A5's shooting and "death" is played very seriously and somberly, even though he is repaired a few scenes later.
