Shot in twelve hours with three actors at one location on a microbudget with no reshoots and no ADR.
The Santa Monica location no longer exists. The home was razed shortly after the shoot day.
The pocket whale prop was nicknamed Percy. Three whales were used for the film. One went to Los Angeles for the shoot, one went to Montana for an insert shot, and one Percy went Michigan to pose for the poster.
There were two large clay elephants sculpted for the murder weapon prop. Both perished shortly after the shoot.
