Released by Madison Video only in Germany in 1991, four years before Gorgon released an American counterpart, this carries the on-screen title, Gesichter Des Todes V (which, in English, translates to Faces of Death V) but which is not officially part of the Faces of Death series, as it was not made by the two brothers who made the four original films. Gesichter Des Todes V contains footage lifted from several other Mondo horror films (Death Faces IV, Death Scenes 1 - 3, and much of Inhumanities 2), but perhaps a third of it is footage I've never seen before, and cannot identify the source. Apparently, this was a limited edition of only 500 copies.
In 1995, Gorgon Video released (in North America only) a video with the on- screen title, Faces of Death 5, which is entirely clips from Faces Of Death parts one and four. This version is listed here on IMDb, with Gesichter Des Todes 5 given as an aka, despite the fact that the two films feature completely different footage.
Again, German language 'Gesichter Des Todes V' and American 'Faces Of Death 5' are NOT the same film, so in the event that someone looks up these titles, please do not try to merge them, they are two different films. Two different, and really, really crummy films.
