Entire Cast Under One Roof at the Same Time...Priceless.
insideout09827 May 2016
I have to say this season season 11 finale was an absolute pleasure to watch, as was the balance of the season. In Alpha and Omega, the most enjoyable was the entire principal cast interacting in close quarters. The writers must have had a blast. It was both hysterical and touching in a way that wasn't soapy, overly melodramatic or trite. Authentic I guess. Real and appreciated given the series often tongue-in-cheek disposition. While I have never been a big fan of all the heaven vs hell thing, preferring instead the monster of the week format, I cannot get over how well the writers pulled this off. Without giving away anything specific, I can tell you that if you've ever been a fan of the show and it's colorful cast of characters, this episode will not disappoint.

Loved it - a different kind of finale
ashley_tuchin18 February 2021
I loved this, after 11 years it was a good idea to have a different kind of resolution to the big bad. The penultimate episode was more in line with the traditional 'big final battle' kind of finale, while this gave us something that isn't seen as often: a peaceful resolution where everybody walks away and nobody has to die (well, we know that, but it looks like the characters will have to wait a bit to find out that everybody has survived).

It was actually a pretty beautiful resolution that tied in well with the show's overarching themes of family and redemption. But that's not to say that it didn't still have high stakes and tension, because it certainly did. In fact, the stakes were probably the highest they've been since they boys' first Apocalypse back in season five.

And of course, despite the peaceful resolution to the season's arc, they still managed to set up the next season with a few dangling threads. We've got a potential new threat coming and one of the most shocking, out of left-field surprise cliffhangers that we've ever seen.

Overall, I think this was a pretty solid season with an interesting finale (even if the previous episode was the more epic of the two episodes - I'd definitely recommend thinking of them as a two-part package deal). I can't wait to start on season 12!

Season 11: Best Season since Season 5
jbencker7 June 2017
Warning: Spoilers
As we all know Supernatural was originally intended to run for five seasons. Since then there have always been people saying it should have ended after these five seasons. Even though I enjoyed the following seasons I can't dispute that they were not as good. The first five seasons had the advantage of being based on a five- season-plan with story lines that started in season 1 and were resolved in season 5. As as result these seasons were very cohesive, adhering to continuity - an aspect that later seasons lacked. Moreover the show began to become repetitive, sometimes painfully so. (The Mark of Cain storyline was basically the same as the demonblood storyline). In it's core SPN seemed to revolve around one of the brothers having to save to other one from being soulless/demon/crazy etc.

However, season 11 with its epic storyline about God & Amara changed course and reached old heights. While previous seasons had been a constant up and down between the brothers, we finally, finally see them fighting together, instead of each other. Amara is one of the better villains and it is interesting to see how she develops, how she tries to figure out what she actually wants. Its great to get the official confirmation that Chuck is God, his storyline and his confrontation with the Winchesters was very touching. The return of Lucifer was done masterfully, starting with Sams visions and concluding in the outstanding and thrilling mid-season finale. It was a pity Mark Pellegrino only came back so briefly. Misha Collins did a adequate job at playing Lucifer, if sometimes overacting, but he couldn't bring the same depth to the character as Pellegrino. I was also a bit disappointed that Lucifer - who is one of the most powerful as well as interesting characters - was being ridiculed in the last few episodes (behaving like a teenager etc.) for a few jokes. This could have been handled better. But in the end I am just grateful he came back at all!

The finale was done very well. Here we see a deviation from the pattern that had been established in previous seasons as well: Instead of ending with a bang (and one of the brothers in great peril) season 11 ends with a conversation.

In the words of God
konstzir-8465426 May 2016
Supernatural reached a point that dug into a very primordial, pre-biblical, existential issue. God vs Darkness, creation vs nothingness, yin and yang etc... One can't go on without the other. In addition, fans know supernatural a little to well a little too much and they just want to see their ending. It is very hard -impossible- to transfer the vague idea of creation, genesis, and "the beginning" on to the small screen. I believe they did a good job, it was a great season, not perfect, not a 10 but hey...:

"Endings are hard. Any chapped-a$$ monkey with a keyboard can poop out a beginning, but endings are impossible. You try to tie up every loose end, but you never can. The fans are always gonna b!tch. There's always gonna be holes. And since it's the ending, it's all supposed to add up to something. I'm telling you, they're a raging pain in the a$$."

I'm overwhelmed
EmmaAlt26 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Before I get into the episode, let me just tell you that I've read the other few reviews and all I have to say about that is that you simply cannot please everyone. I'm active on every kind of social media and I know that a ton (!) of people enjoyed this finale, just as much as I did. Supernatural has gone through a lot of changes lately, referred to the switch of writers. However, the writing of this episode was brilliant. Everyone, who denies this does clearly not have a clue about these kind of subjects. We've closed one chapter (God & The Darkness) and opened another one. And as always, it's terrifying because we don't know what is ahead of us, but as far as I can tell from the cliffhangers, it is absolutely thrilling. In a good way! I'm not gonna lie, the end of the episode had me in more than just tears. And this is the kind of effect a good finale needs to have on the viewers. An emotional and thrilling one. And as far as I can tell (based on Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) the connection was definitely there. Of course this finale was not the best one, you can't have one fan-favorite finale after another. That's just not how it works. However, that doesn't mean that this one was bad in any kind of way. It was brilliant. The fandom was on edge through every minute of this episode.

The finale was great and I can't wait for what's ahead of us. These two cliffhangers were absolutely extreme (again, in a good way) and this is what keeps an amazing show running. Good job to the cast & team! Just don't leave us hanging for Season 12 ;) It's been great so far!

S12, looks worth waiting for
mary-5509628 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
With the departure of Jenny and Robbie, my anxiety rises 'cause they are the very few writers whose episodes would mostly be highly-praised ones containing wonderful dynamic between the Winchester boys and many other hilarious elements. Especially Robbie, who literally has never let me down. We do have fans who gladly give him the code name "second surrogate dad" (first one would be Erik). (Personally I would call Robbie "the first". Erik's S5 finale is t***h)

Therefore I have some words for Andrew Dabb --- GO AND GET A DIPLOMA!!! What kind of lines do you think you have written?!?!? Every one of their acting is exceedingly outstanding, but even a fanatic like me got "embarrassment syndrome" when hearing the dialogues. Jeremy may have written some tragically lame story lines, but at least he is capable of writing great lines for characters.

BTW: Why is there always a huge bunch of people who keeps yelling things like "BRING HIM BACK" or "BRING HER BACK"? Have you NEVER watched Doctor Who?!? If not, then get this. You CAN like a character to hell. When that one is "exile" by the writer, not matter how s**t the story is, you can mourn the joy and sadness and excitement and aspiration he/she brought as long as you want, but what you ARE SUPPOSED TO DO IS keep calm and move on. One must understand the difference between main characters (In this case, it's Sam and Dean) and supporting characters. What's more, low expectation brings unbelievable pleasant surprise.

P.S.1: Welcome back Samantha.(Pleasant surprise I just talked about.) P.S.2: Finally, "Men of Letters" gets attention. I like. P.S.3: Emily and Rob's tweets afterwards are SOOO funny o(∩_∩)o

Underwhelming and lacking Quality
Dariush7225 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Warning, spoilers.....

Now that it's all over and done, while I liked the ending itself with God and Darkness reconciling, there are some very glaring flaws with this season overall and the writing quality of this episode:

-Amara's character was retconned: we went from an amoral soul eating sociopath to "just" a mad, furious sibling, she wanted to be again all there is, she seek-ed destruction (after all she's the Darkness) but suddenly in this episode she started feeling love towards creation

Based on what was presented to us, God was creation and Amara destruction, this episode undermined the mythology established in the beginning of this season

-God was too weak and irrelevant: this one was present in the previous episode as well, I don't mind Darkness managing to beat God (after all God is creation and she is destruction so it makes sense as she can't create, he can't destroy) but more effort needed to be put by her and he needed to be portrayed more gracefully

These sort of things put viewers off, you can only go so much before people start running out of suspension of disbelief, when you say God is dying and literally no one even in the show shows any sort of emotion, it's just bad

-Lack of attention to details: THE GREATEST effect of this show was the one they had for Angels and their wings, where's that? God fixed The vessel when fixing Lucifer too, why is Cas still using cars and why Crowley the demon is portrayed more gracefully than Castiel the seraph?

Again a put off for viewers

Fix the angel wings for chu..God's sake and stop making once the most special creatures of the SPN universe less useful than a human

Final notes:

-I'm not still buying into the female character but I'm willing to see what happens

-Andrew Dabb is not a good choice as a show-runner, all of the flaws mentioned above are proof of this

The end

Didn't add much to the show, gave us back an interesting character..
alex-dinniz26 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
See,the whole season made me feel like Supernatural was getting back on shape, way before the midseason finale, things were running great and in an exciting manner, but right after Lucifer possessed "Castiel"things started to look a little weird, plot holes and bad use of characters made it go in a strange path, the episodes of this season were GREAT,some of them even are on the top best..

I think this is the only season to have the most top-rated episodes of all of them,Just My Imagination,Baby,O' Brother Where Are Thou, and so on,Don't Call Me Shurley was and is a must-watch,Robbie Thompson's farewell in the best way,a great interpretation of "god",but afterwards....such a bad taste in my mouth i had,i mean comon, pretend you're Dean or Sam,and there's "god" in your room, talking to you in a human form, how would you act? Having in mind everything you been through, how would it be? Now compare it to how they acted, they acted like if it was nothing really big,it seemed like if it was a walk in the park,a normal day thing,"god" acted stupid, with bad and non sense talk, they acted like "oh hey god,how you doing? Oh i'll brb, talk to ya later",DISRESPECT to one of the if not the most important character in Supernatural, what the hell was wrong with you writers? You guys even managed to screw up one of my favorite archangels,"Lucifer" making him act like a powerless kid, remember in season 5,when he actually had a pose of a boss? You could feel your hands shaking when he entered in the room, this season 11 made him look just like an angry kid, don't get me wrong,i've loved to see him back, his interpretations on Brother Where Are Thou and Devil in the Details are great, despite acting way different than he was before

Anyways, this episode was strange, its pacing wasn't what i'm used to,maybe i'll have to watch it again to "understand" it,too many flaws in my opinion, you guys have to understand that the bar is way higher since Do You Believe in Miracles,so do something on its level or better...and please,as you guys gave us back Mary Winchester, please don't ruin her like you did to the others,thanks,7/10 for this, you're one of my favorite Andrew Dabb,i know you can do good with season 12..

I'm disappointed
valen-5805826 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I'm so, so, so disappointed.... I mean, Mary? really?! And God's plan was in the end "I've got no plan, but I love you so let's talk sis" :( nope. I absolutely love this show and will NEVER stop watching. But this episode???? (and it was a finale! how could you ruin a finale?!) S11 starts great and there are a lot of awesome stand-alone hunts but in the end all ran off the rails. English snooty woman just walks right in and gets rid of Cas... just like that? Seriously? Wants to stop Sam...where the hell was she after season 4? Like I say... I won't stop watching but getting back to life on the road finding the rest of the jobs out there and helping out OTHER Hunters would have been better. My opinion of course. I loved the usual "showdown with big bad, kill big bad, rise of inspiring classic rock music, everyone parties" finale..This is too much; just a messy thing with far too few Winchester brotherly moments. Hope next season will fix everything and Lucifer will be the bad guy (really bad, like Mark Pellegrino-bad, not Misha)

Great Finale for a Great Season
jopousa8427 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
SOME SPOILERS AHEAD

I loved the ending. Unexpected; and in some way also feels like a series ending... I think this could have been a great series finale. But like season 5, we have a cliffhanger (or 2 cliffhanger, being more accurate).

The episode doesn't have any misses; maybe you don't like the resolution but the episode is solid. The 'souls grenade' was a good idea. And the dialogues are pretty good.

This and the fifth season are probably the best.

P.S. : We'll see the Antichrist return one day?? P.S 2 : Lucifer 'died'??

Typifies why season 11 is lackluster-a real step back from seasons 7-10.
CubsandCulture19 October 2020
This episode is built out of ad hoc parts-Billy helping, the way too convenient asylum-while built on a false tension (of course Chuck isn't going to die)-as it plods along to a predictable outcome. Of course the siblings make peace with each other. Add in that it feels anticlimactically because of the far grander prior episode and this episode brings the season to a whimper. I think the writers knew it too because they needlessly force in the set-up for the British Men of Letters in this episode. At this point in the show's run the writers are clearly recycling as this episode concludes the tablet-mark of Cain-Darkness story that was in the works since season 8m pretty much how Swan Song concludes the first 5 years of the show. The episode feels very tried and true so it hold your attention but it is a poorer copy of the prior material.

Season on the whole:

That largely describes the season on the whole as well. There's less of a drive and spark in this season; the central arch plays it very safe and it's underwhelming as a result. There are flashes of former glory-Collins as Lucifer for example-but the Darkness story, very much including the name, is clunky, pitched and faintly a little too absurd. With that said-frustratingly so-there's a handful of episodes this year that among the very best in the show's run. "Baby" is an absolute gem of an episode and its sheer brilliance shines upon the whole season. Likewise, "Just My Imagination" and "Safe House" are real bright spots that raise the season on the whole a lot. This season is really when the show starts to fall into either truly great episodes or episodes being a tedious bores. Even season 6's unevenness wasn't quite this stark because when season 6 didn't work the show was at least *trying* to be different and move in a new direction. (Season 11 is slightly better overall in large part because the highs are *really* high) This season feels stuck for the first time.

Best 3 Episodes:

1. Baby 2. Safe House 3. Just My Imagination

Worst 3 episodes

21. Thin Lizzie 22. The Devil in the Details 23. Alpha and Omega

Supernatural used to be hardcore. Demons. Death. Blood. Grim horror. Now it is pigeons, flowers, holding hands, talking and feelings. And family arguments.
janjilecek27 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Here are season finales in short, compare it with this season..

Season 1: Yellow eyed demon possesses Dad. Azazel escapes Dad's body. Then Dad, Dean and Sam are in a car crash with a truck.

Season 2: Dean kills Azazel with The Colt, on a cemetery on a stormy rainy night when gates of Hell are open and ghosts and demons are flying around.

Season 3: Dean is killed by Hell Hounds, because he made a deal with a crossroads demon to revive his brother. Dean goes to Hell.

Season 4: Sam breaks the last seal by killing Lilith with his demon powers and sets Lucifer free, then Dean and Sam kill Ruby. Castiel saves them from incoming explosion.

Season 5: Sam is possessed by Lucifer and is killing Dean. Castiel and Bobby try to stop him, but Lucifer kills them both. Sam sees a toy in their car, which reminds him of his love to his brother and helps him to take his body back. Sam, Lucifer and Michael jump into Lucifer's cage. Castiel is revived.

Season 6: Castiel plays on God. Next season lets Leviathan into our world.

Season 7: Dean kills Dick, the main Leviathan. The blood sends them both into Purgatory.

Season 8: Sam tries to close the Gates of Hell forever, but fails. Angels fall from the heaven.

Season 9: Metatron kills Dean. Mark of Cain saves him and turns Dean into a demon. Episode ends with Dean opening his eyes. Black.

Season 10: Dean has to kill Sam, a price he has to pay to The Death. But he kills The Death with his Scythe. Dean gets rid of the Mark of Cain and sets Darkness upon this world.

Season 11: Amara learns what a love is from watching pigeons and listening to 2 sentences from an old lady. Darkness and God talk. Emotional feelings. Dean watches Amara and Chuck hold hands. They fly into heaven. Dean and Sam just fought alongside with Gods, but some random British blonde shoots Sam. Amara revives their Mother.

Very tame season finale, build for girls used to watch telenovelas. Cringy cliffhangers. Boring episode.

Seriously?
adityabalodi-adu25 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I think the writers are high. Directors are high. Everyone is high. How can they make such a lame last episode, no action what so ever. Just a happy family reunion. How can 200000 souls hurt Amara? She's practically God and energy can neither be created nor be destroyed so the energy in souls came from God. Billions of souls built by God and yet 200000 can hurt someone as powerful as God! And yes, Amara almost kills God and then heals Him just like that. Talk about absurdness. I can bare the logic if they would have at least had more action in it. The ending was something to build upon, I'll give them that. All in all, I don't understand how can the director be so bad. I mean this season had freaking God in it. They could have done so much, SO MUCH with God. This season is an epic fail. We waited for something big and I'm still waiting. Hopefully, the next season will be worth watching as we won't have expectations this high.

Warning: Spoilers
The entire episode was too melodramatic. I think the darkness talking it out did make sense but it was too little stretched out. And why did Amara take out Lucifer from Cass? Why not just kill the body? No reasons, ok fine maybe Amara wanted him to stay around to see the world end... Whatever. Why does everyone keep entering the bunker when apparently only a key could have people enter it? God would be reaped where? I am an atheist so its not like i am offended at the portrayal of god just underwhelmed.

S11 rating 7/10 I had heard very good things about this season and after S10 which was disappointing for me S11's start really pulled through but it lost its pull real soon. I did notice a change in tone, more darker, good pace, more serious and that was benefited from the fact that after 3 seasons the brothers had a good relationship and Dean's character was lighter which is important because he is the main comedic relief. The tone was a huge improvement over the last 3 seasons. But man i did not enjoy the second half of it.

1. Amara- I liked Amara in the start. She was a complete mystery. Her hunger for souls was pretty terrifying, this being that is never satisfied, but they completely dropped this part i guess because she had grown to full power. They could have shown us her eating souls to get to full power instead of the Rowena thing. Also souls being what people are is just way more tragic than death. Her cluelessness and confusion was something new i suppose, it brought some level of unpredictability in her plus room for manipulation by likes of Crowley than Rowena and added to the mystery. Her want to search for God seemed good too. But the second half of her just amounts to nothing, we don't really see her doing much, just whining and talking to dean about how they are meant to be together.

2. Souls- I have always found the souls mythology of the show brilliant, especially in S6 so i did like it being addressed again. Also what happens when a soul gets consumed? Probably the final end and that is what made her eating souls so dangerous. In regards to the soul bomb, not sure if those souls would have died, but if they would have the casualness is something.

3. Prophet- We see Kevin for a minute and from it we can assume he has been in the veil for this long... Really his mother kept him around this long, that is kinda creepy, all she had to do was burn him, also how does that instill any faith in the brothers, if they suspect Chuck is not Chuck why could Kevin not be Kevin... So the other prophet is awakened... Through Amara...he reminds me of the psychic character in S10, he was pretty entertaining tho. Also the whole this prophet could have been missed, i guess we could asume Samandriel i think didn't give the name of the prophet right next in line.

4. Cassifer- I hated how Cassifer came into being, absolutely hated it...i do a bit less now because sure they seemed to really need Lucifer. I thought the setup of him being depressed into taking it on was kinda lame and being forced but again it seemed to make sense eventually for me, Lucifer was needed for them. As for Cassifer himself, i loved him, he was so much fun.

5. Dean and Amara- Cringe. Megacringe. The first half it was compelling mostly from Amara's side, what would she do and all. From Dean's side is the problem and the way they handled it. Then the problem was that it didn't go anywhere, it didn't amount to anything, it was used to make Amara realise she needs her brother? Used to distract her once and then get close to her to blow her up. Ok so first of all, the creepiness is not conveyed like it should, in an ep we see that Amara made a girl feel bliss when she was near her, we can assume that's what happened to Dean, or do we assume he actually by himself has an attraction? It's not too clear. Sam mentions in an ep that Dean had no choice... I don't even know. Then the cringe, oh the cringe, in an ep an old lady just knows he is in "love" (or spell, what is it), the whole Dean can't kill her thing, the convo at the table about him wanting her dead, the no when she walks in the second last ep, everything is cringe because of the set up, because i can only assume he is under a sort of spell. As for Amara the unpredictability of what she would do wavers, she doesn't do anything, only talks creepily to him and says she wants him to be a part of her. Perhaps the worst is when infected Sam from an upgraded fog that in true spn fashion makes people tell the truth says that he knows Dean will pick Amara over him, really? Are we to believe that is what he thinks. Nonsense. Its fake tension and it is pure cringe and it feels like they know it too.

6. Emotional investment- The least it has been in the entire series, probably close to nada. The first half was pretty good. There was a sense of dread looming but that faded away. The stakes seemed high but then...nothing was happening i suppose, the build up was just not there. Then i did feel something when God said Sam would bear the mark, seemed like a terrible end. And with Dean going in as a bomb... Not much. I think the most emotional i felt was the ep with the werewolf in which Sam almost dies, it was really good atmosphere wise but had too many flaws story wise. Lucifer did invoke some feeling but not much, the time travel ep was when there seemed stakes but that got brushed off with every meeting him not being able to kill them or Crowley. You know i complained for 3 seasons about unnecessary strain on the brother's relationship and how refreshing it was to have them normal in S11 but maybe i was wrong or maybe someone of the brothers needs to be in danger for the emotional connection to work. I guess you could say Cass was in danger this season but as much as i care for Cass his character has gone through too much for me to care about this.

7. Demons and Crowley There has been a huge problem in this show since S8 and it is how demons are handled. The problem is that unless it was Abaddon or Cain the demons were mostly seen interacting with Crowley like employees and that sucked out completely any terror we are supposed to feel from them, they are completely pathetic, in a sense it works but even then the potrayal sucks. Crowley too is not terrifying like he was in S6, he is at his best interacting with the boys as an adversary but again we mostly see him with demons or such, it's absolutely boring and an attempt to give him that terrifying factor like murder people after an or*y or kill a bunch of people by having guns point to them, does nothing for me. It invokes no dread, no fear, no "look how evil he is". Crowley is probably the best character this show has and he just is there.

8. Angels- While the corporate structure of hell irks me it doesn't with heaven, clearly that is how it was always potrayed. I just find them annoying and boring and thankfully we didn't see much of them.

9. Plot i suppose- This season was about light and darkness, about family and how revenge doesn't solve anything, themes that have been done before and don't hit too hard but the insertion of God does add a layer to it but do i really care? No, if its not about the brotherd it doesn't hit hard. And what is the message? Amara was jealous and let go of her jealousy and anger. Good all good... Does it make me feel anything? No. Ofcourse they had to do a sibling thing.

10. Mythology- The mark of cain mythology, Lucifer had it and that corrupted him but he already had thise feelings... I mean its fine. Makes me feel sympathy for Lucifer. I did like the whole darkness and light needs to be balanced thing.

11. Dean and Sam They were just there it seemed. Sam feels guilty. He is trying to save people and be better. Dean is slowly becoming less of an asshole. They have a new policy of respecting others choices apparently. Dean and his Amara thing don't make me see any character changes. But has anything changed because tho the show became a bit self-aware in S9 it ultimately does not matter, they will keep doing what they do. The characters are borderline unlikeable now and that is such a shame.

12. Chuck The end of S5 did signify that Chuck was God. His demeanor was not of Chuck's in that scene so the prophet thing was an act. Now i just think the concept was a little too big to handle. I found the interactions just weird. Especially Dean and God. Also why would God even let it get to here...i feel they'll reveal something in later seasons...The feeling that God is dying is just not there. It's too weird and underwhelming.

13. Metatron Redemption arc... Made sense i suppose.

Seemed to me that the show could have ended here if they wanted to but they just kept going. Can't even blame the writers can we when they don't have an end in sight, makes their job so much more difficult but this season could have served as a good end if they would have stopped trying to milk and murder this show.

Fave eps-baby, thin lizzie, plush, just my imagination

Disappointing Final for a Great Season
marcusbentley1523 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I've really enjoyed this season so far, with Don't Call Me Shurly being one of my favorite episodes of the entire show, but I felt like the final really let me down. In the last episode (spoiler) a ton of damage was dealt to Amara/the Darkness, but she walked away pretty much unscathed and put Chuck/God in a bad place, which seems extremely implausible to me. Then in this episode, it was to predictable what would happen, and I can't pinpoint it much, but I was getting bored half way through it. I liked some parts, but others disappointing me, which is why it's a 5/10.

This does not however take away from how amazing this season was, and I'm looking forward to seeing the situations Sam and Dean are in next season!

A disappointing ending to a disappointing season

I have no clue why people seem to like season 11. It's total crap, not to mention just flatly blasphemous and poorly written.

A Bizarre Finale for Season 11!
revba19 October 2021
The writers were true to the ridiculous set-up from previous episode. I just don't know how much of this Series I will watch of Season 12. Technically speaking I should NOT continue to watch any of it. I started watching in the first place to see how this series managed to have 15 Seasons in the first place?? I thought I had a few Seasons ago. Just trying to figure out what the writers were hoping to accomplish in the form of entertainment. The whole God/Chuck, Lucifer/Castiel, Amara, Metatron characters were an out of the fantasy realm of absurdity.

Too many fangirls to please...

People joked about how in Suicide Squad Harley Quinn was fan service, but since the end of Episode 5 the series has been nothing but fan service for fan girls. Blech. I suffer through it with my wife mainly for the one liners. The guy who punches up dialogue is a genius. The rest of them are Nucking Flutz.
