Excellent chase scene
StoryLass9 October 2018
There is a chase scene that I have actually timed, it's over 5 minutes long, that is really fun to watch. It doesn't matter that we're sure it was done piece mail and with stunt men, it's fantastic.

Warning: Spoilers
Somewhat confusing first episode of the new season. If a vigilante is killing serial killers, what is going on with the tourists who are also falling victim to murder?

Danny will never let Steve forget that he gave him part of his liver to save him. The race in wheelchairs at the hospital between the two men was ridiculous at best.

That chase scene where the 5-0 team jumps over buildings was certainly memorable and was a definite asset to this episode.

I miss Masa Oki as Dr. Max Bergman. The new mediccal examiner, a female, seems to be a by the book person. Will Dr. Max be returning?

High Hopes for Season 7
ShelbyTMItchell30 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
After a great seasons 1 and 2, great until later on in season 3, least favorite season 4, and up and down in seasons 5 & 6. There are high hopes for season 7.

As really Steve just keeps rubbing the wrong way. But his arrogance and his holier than thou attitude. On top of a liver operation. It seems Danny will not let him live it down.

As an organ donor myself, heard that organs take time, not all of a sudden. But still I feel bad for Danny. As he has gone out of his way, and is such a caring and kind friend. Feel bad for him to have a boss and a partner that treats him like dirt at times.

As the serial killing thing that is going on. For this season. As we are introduced to the new Governor a female. As hope she gives Steve lip and to know who is really boss.

disappointing season opener

I love this show. It's normally great. However this was one long chase scene and no plot at all. Yeah action, but where was the story-line? Nothing was even resolved. Hopefully things will get better from here. I expect better from 5-0.

Been going down for a while

S7 is more of the same. Sad music about men trying to be parents to other people's kids. Snappy talk with attractive women knee deep in gore. And a really REALLY weird segment with a bad CGI Ghost Jack Lord. WTF. And aren't we tired of each iteration of the governor... they get a new one about every 7 months.....being an impossibly angry fascist tyrant?

All over the place and back again

Warning: Spoilers
Five-0 has always been a fun show. I like the Oahu helicopter aerials, the beach scenes and diverse topography. Maybe that's why I started watching it in the first place because much, but not all, of it is, frankly, a stretch. In this season opener about a serial killer, we are instead treated to a wheelchair race between the two stars who within days underwent liver transplant surgery. Then we have a park our star Jessi La Flair, the aforementioned serial killer, who spends at least 10 minutes of the show playing Spider Man, which was kinda fun, but come on. Seriously? Then we have this whole news suppression angle to keep the serial killer thing in abeyance so they don't bankrupt the Island of Oahu...in the words of the new Governor or whatever who I certainly hope kicks McGarret's butt for a change. His arrogance is annoying. Then the new medical examiner is a by the book nobody in the sense that she isn't interesting after a long stint with the very amusing, very entertaining and oftentimes show-salvaging last medical examiner, Masi Oka, who apparently moved on to greener pastures. I could go on, but I hope the season improves because all this weird guest star of the week thing is not going to replace average scripting.

Warning: Spoilers
The late Jack Lord - the original Steve Garret - should have been given a credit as they used a CGI character in this episode.it's good to see Chin looking after Sarah.
