Warning: Spoilers
This episode has so much action it's just unbelievable good executed. Five-0 discovers finally the location of Gabriel Waincroft, and finally capture the man, but when he is wounded, the Yakuza comes for Gabriel to kill him and kill anyone else who gets in their way, so that Michelle Shioma can get justice for the death of her father (her father is shot and killed by Gabriel) now this where it gets really exciting, they are in building trapped, at least 20 or more Yakuza members are coming with automatic weapons to destroy them, the teamwork is absolutely great and we see a hell of a load of action, this episode shows how great the team is in teamwork and that they really need each other to survive, they finally get out on the building and Lou Grover comes to rescue them, but he gets ambush by the Yakuza, but then our new character Abby comes to rescue the man, so Grover can go and rescue the rest of the team, when this is over and all the members who where after Gabriel are dead, Gabriel gets to a hospital but he didn't make it, now, is Chin Ho ready to be a dad? I hope so, he would be a great dad for his niece, and Michelle Shioma has escaped, so do we have a new arch enemy like Gabriel and Wo Fat? we will see! Great episode with the action we are used to in five-0!

Action Packed!

Warning: Spoilers
The show goes back to it's action roots of the early seasons of 1 and 2.

As they have to protect the villain that had replaced Wo-Fat, Gabriel as he is nowhere near the former. But still while he is injured, Five-0 must protect him in order for him to be jailed.

But a new villain or villianess is on the rise. She has hired all kinds of man power to kill Five 0. It is weird that a team of five are outnumbered by a team of like over thirty.

We find out something about Chin's niece. And how she is now orphaned. While the team must find a way to get out of their situation despite being only five. As never let the looks fool you.

Especially when you are lead by a Navy SEAL.

Warning: Spoilers
My question is: How could Gabriel Wainwright jump over buildings, flee in cars and run in general with that bullet lodged in his stomach? Is it any wonder that he came to the end that he did on the operating table?

In this episode, the entire 5-0 team is trapped by the woman's gang after Gabriel and they use, with the help of Jerry, every means possible to elude their menacing brood.

With Gabriel meeting his end, Chin now ponders if he could become a daddy to his niece. While it appears that the child is now destined for foster home care, I have an inkling that this shall all change next season, especially since I think that Chin shall not remain a widower for very long.

Great episode, horrible stunt actors

Great episode, but ruined by the stunt actors. They didn't even try to make them look like the actors, so for me it broke all immersion. The writing gets worse during the episode, and at the end it's not even believable anymore. However, if you don't mind that and just want a lot of action... Just ignore this review, there is enough of that.

Gabriel is an Android
erasmussen077 October 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I still can't get past the fact the Gabriel is walking. I guess the writers figured if they wait a few weeks we wouldn't notice that, after falling from a four story building and landing on his butt, seemingly crushing his spine, that we find him alive and well and WALKING in some crack/meth house. AND, in the process of escaping, they have Gabriel JUMP from one building roof, to another building roof with a gunshot wound to his belly...this guy must be an android to be able to survive that kind of bodily damage. The producers seem to be throwing this show together as fast as they can and they don't care about the details or logistics, I can't believe the actors don't say something.

Yes it does have action but not much more

Warning: Spoilers
This is a very action packed episode. I didn't start watching this new version of Hawaii Five O until a couple of years ago. The first version had some pretty good actors but did have some kind of unbelievable stories here and there. Mainly the international spy stuff. Wasn't sure what to expect from this show. I was surprised by some of the actors. McGarrett, Danny, and Chin turned out to be pretty good. The others are fair. Michelle Borth is probably the worst. As an actress and the character. But the stories turned out the same as the old show. Some good ones mixed with some very unbelievable ones. This is one of the very unbelievable ones.

If you like action, no disappointment here. The bullet count has to be well over a thousand and the body count is up there also. But the writing is not that great and pretty lazy. Depending on the action. It seemed to be a cross between Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and the OK Coral. Maybe some Dirty Harry mixed in. I liked how Abby who we last saw with a gun to her head somehow got away and comes in riding Chin's $60K electric motorcycle shooting with her right hand (throttle hand) to save the day. Had a good laugh over that.

To answer the other review about how Gabriel could jump with a belly wound? The same way the villain from a couple of episodes before who had a 2-inch pipe stabbed completely through his belly and was able to pull it out and then run.

Bottom line is, this show isn't bad. Gabriel is finally caught ending that tiring phase of the show. The action is over the top but the good guys won. So for that, I would give it a 7 or 8. But the writing was pretty bad and would give it a 1 or 2.

Don't get me wrong, I like the show. It's not a bad overall. Just when they do these over-the-top unbelievable shows, it can be too much to handle.
