When Harry made discoveries at the conclusion of the last season, he was left infuriated by the actions leading to his mother's death. So this is the pall that hangs over Season 3. He is back testifying in the trial of that woman who killed the priest. She is a smug Hollywood insider with whom he battled previously, but his reputation is detrimental to the case. She planted evidence but he has no credibility among the suits and the legal system. There is another murder in an RV. A reclusive war veteran, a Green Beret, who has lost himself. Harry continues to take care of his daughter and also continues to get the police force more alienated toward him. He knows that the mayor, a former enemy, is going to do everything he can to get in the way of justice. The other loose cannon is the Chief, who is submerged in the death of his son, whom he encouraged to go undercover.
