When I hear Lucha ... I am thinking of Lucha Libre ... so a completely different sport than the one that is depicted here. So you can imagine my surprise when I started watching this ... I am certain that I am either alone with this sentiment or in a really really small minority. Why do I say this? To show you that it doesn't even matter what one thinks this is - it still works as a documentary.
So this is about a female player who had the drive, motivation and most importantly the skills to get to the top ... again and again. Now that does not mean there weren't any hardships - or setbacks. And yet if you are like her, nothing will throw you back.
Emotional and quite inspirational too, this is a thorough documentary. It may not interest some people, because of the sport that is depicted here, but that almost is a sideshow ... almost - you should be open to it. But if you don't like it, there is nothing that can be done.
