- With her mother self-absorbed with her own life and Paula busy studying for exams, Rebecca plans her and Josh's wedding, which is to take place in two weeks, all on her own. She gets a little help from "Sasha and Dustin", that help which may be more a hindrance than a help. The one person she doesn't ask for help from but who wants to provide some input is Josh, who is told by Father Brah that this wedding should also be his, and not just something that happens to him. Out of her Jewish guilt, Rebecca invites her father, who she is certain will not show up, despite she really wanting him there. The one person who has already indirectly turned her down through repeated ignored messages is Valencia, whose reasons are not what Rebecca may believe. Rebecca has told no one that she manipulated the early wedding date because of the feelings she had and probably still has for Nathaniel from the time she kissed him when they were trapped together in the elevator. Only an objective bystander may be able to see through to Rebecca's true motivations. With all these things swirling around Rebecca, she may not be able to withstand the pressure by wedding date. Meanwhile, Nathaniel, irked that Rebecca has unilaterally decided not to come into work in favor of planning her wedding, is finding that life in West Covina is not all that he would like, he being forced to do certain things he would just normally go out and buy if he was in Los Angeles. He doing one thing in particular has unintended consequences, those consequences which may ultimately show him about the true state of his life in terms of being happy or unhappy.—Huggo
