Rumer Willis Was Not That Bad
BlueeRain7 March 2021
What actually stinks is that people are trashing this movie because she is the daughter of famous people. I am giving it a fair 5 because that is what I think it deserves. The story was interesting and it held my interest. I hope someday people will stop using the overused, "Watching paint dry" or "I want my 2 hours back" in reviews. How does one criticize anything when they can't even come up with their own original catch phrases?

Average Mystery Thriller

I thought this movie was actually ok ! I see most of the reviews have slammed it, but , for me it was very watchable .

I can't say that some of the scenes were brilliantly acted , especially the closing scene, but that was not down to Rumer Willis.

I am not going to knock her, kinda hard when you'r father is Bruce Willis, a lot to live up to !

I thought she did her best , no better or worse than many other actors. The storyline held my attention and it did keep me guessing for the most part .

So, do give it a go , it's not that bad !!!

Doctor and the medics
Prismark103 October 2018
Rumer Willis plays dual roles in this Lifetime mediocrity.

Susan Waterman is an investigative reporter whose sister jumped off a roof.

A series of killings are taking place which are made to look like suicides or overdoses.

Susan thinks that television medic Dr Mitch is being framed as a suspect. Susan thinks that another man who has been dating the dead women might have killed them and is carrying out his deranged fantasies.

Rumer Willis is wooden. The story is boring. The rooftop climax is ridiculous.

Dad should have stopped her

Rumer's acting in this horrible thing is about a 5 and she is by far the best actor in the piece. The plot is ridiculous, the filming was most certainly done by a student but the performances were something a high school drama club would be embarrassed to admit to. The most shocking thing about it is that one would have expected her Dad or Mom would have stopped her from being part of such a disaster...but I guess kids will be kids.

It's Like Watching Paint Dry.

As the movie crawled at a snail's pace, I started to image an alternative version of this film. Previously I saw the cult classic The Devil's Rain (1975) & thought what if this film was a sequel!

So here is my take, Suzanne goes to Dr. Mitch apartment for dinner, it is revealed he is working with Corbin(from the devil's rain) & he needs a new body(Corbin possessed a woman body at the end of the film) & Suzanne will be the new body. Plus, the deaths were sacrifices in their plot for world domination & the souls are trapped in the new devil's rain.

Corbin appears along with the lady detective who is Corbin's off spring. Some how our hero escapes & is chased by Corbin & his offspring. Suzanne stops at a Catholic Church where she tells a priest Satan's minions are after her. When Corbin & offspring arrive, the Priest throws holy water at them. They melt.

Suzanne & the Priest returns to the doc's apartment & throw holy water on him. He melts. They find the devil's rain & destroys it, freeing the souls.

As the credits run, we hear Ernest Borgine laughing. (He stared in the Devil's Rain) That would have more entertaining.

The one good thing I can say about the film it had an adorable puppy.

PS.: A few months ago, I attempted to re watch the movie however I could not make it through the first fifteen minutes. The acting and the script was bad.

There's 92 minutes of my life I'll never get back. What a stinker.

oh dear

Actually Rumer Willis wasn't all that bad as an actress in this, but I found myself continually being distracted by her lip fillers, especially in profile - a jolly good impression of a fish-face. Sorry, Rumer.

Anyway, I'm sure everyone who watched this , even as I did, with one eye, knew who the real killer was 10 minutes into the start. But of course, there was all the tedious ho-hum to follow as they try to get the audience to believe all sorts of other suspects.

One funny thing, I noticed they said her name a lot : "Susan" was that because she kept forgetting her character's name? Ha ha.

Shame. Terrible movie.
