This was by far the best episode of the sixth series of a show that the BBC seems determined to milk for all its worth.
The reason for this is simple. The writing is better, and the show is focusing on characters we care about, rather than at the start of the series when it was all about the new nun who spoilt things.
When it's good this show is very good, and is able to tap into themes that were relevant in the 60's and still relevant now.
Hopefully this episode marks a return to form for a show that was out of sorts at the start of the series.
