- The city is in an uproar as the SBK strikes again; Alison relies on Brady to clear her name as she sets out to find the culprit who is at fault; Tessa has doubt's about Madeline; Cam decides on the custody of Jack and Sophie's involvement.
- Jennifer Windham's murder, which was videotaped by the perpetrator, leads to the police now believing that person Mitchell's SBK accomplice, especially as there are certain aspects of Windham's murder which match the SBK M.O. and that were never made public, meaning that this is not a copycat murder. As such, Garrett is released, his first priority which is to find pregnant and now in hiding Christina. Alison's theory of who the accomplice is she hopes to use to her political advantage, although she does feel guilty for her role in Windham being murdered. Tessa also has her own theories based on increasing bold face lies and half truths, but she also wants to know why Garrett could not tell her that he had never killed anyone. However, Brady isn't quite ready to absolve Garrett of all blame for SBK despite he being in jail the time of Windham's murder. Meanwhile, Cam has completed his rehab. Madeline wants him to pursue sole custody of Jack. His decision on the matter may rest on a specific incident as Sophie helps Jack with his Boston History presentation. Cam also knows he wants to date Nurse April despite she perhaps having a clearer picture of what is best for his recovery regardless of their mutual attraction.—Huggo
- Just as Garret wants out to seek and reassure his pregnant ex Christian, the 'SBG-copycat' televised murder of Jennifer Windham in never-publicized detail suffices to get him released as suspect. He tells Tessa about his wood cabin 'mercy homicide' and seems too focused to take time even for Jack's school project presentation, being asked unlike the attending rest of the family, but arrives just in time, later slips out soon, followed by Brady, who was suspended on FBI-orders for conflicts of interest, but observed him buying an agricultural shredder and digging up a corpse. Allison points at the sitting mayor Conley as copycat killer, admitting she blackmailed Windham to dig up dirt against her electoral rival, whom she photographed secretly conferring with Brady's boss Cutter , but he has a conclusive alibi and their stories concur to 'merely' bribe her into evidence tampering. Can discover hat Sophie used Jack to score drugs from a street vendor and decides to seize full custody on that account.—KGF Vissers
