Murder Made Easy features many long take scenes including a 6 minute scene when Marcus arrives all done in one shot. The scene had 28 takes due to random occurrences disrupting the shot. The cast and crew finally got through all 6 minutes of the scene on take 27 and Director Dave Palamaro wanted to move on but the cast and crew insisted on doing one more take for safety.
Murder Made Easy was shot using a Russian made anamorphic lens that was originally built for 35mm film projectors.
Members of the Murder Made Easy cast have appeared in critically acclaimed TV shows The Wire, True Detective and Fargo.
The role of Marcus had to be re-cast due to the original actor coming down with pneumonia the day before he was to shoot his scenes.
