  Himself - Host : His a billionaire but people say "no his not really a billionaire", what'd you think? Is he really a billionaire? Or not a billionaire?

  Mark Cuban : [Eventually shrugs]  you know, who knows how much debt he has but I'll give him the credit, if his billionaire fine, fine more power to him

  Himself - Host : [Imitates Cuban's response]  only another billionaire can say that "his a billionaire"

  Himself - Host : Good for you, that seems like a lot of money

  Himself - Host : Well you're a billionaire, you've got opinions, why don't you run for President?

  Mark Cuban : [to the audience]  what'd you think?

  Himself - Host : [after cheering from the audience]  have you thought about it?

  Mark Cuban : Absolutely I have thought about it

  Mark Cuban : No, you've got to go straight to the top but I just don't want to put my family through it, but my six year old Jake loves the idea but it's just a lot of scrutiny and my kids are still young and I want to spend time with them, typically I dislike politics but this year is such a mess and with Trump getting so involved I was asked by a couple senators to start for a third party run but if I had done that the way the electoral college works if I won any state it would've gone to the republican congress so they would've vote for Trump so it would've been a mistake

  Himself - Host : Ok you went to the University of Indiana?

  Mark Cuban : Yup

  Himself - Host : You still have friends back in Indiana?

  Mark Cuban : Absolutely

  Himself - Host : What do they say about Pence? Do they have any good things to say about him?

  Mark Cuban : [Before laughing]  about Pence?

  Himself - Host : [after the audience laughs]  it's a reasonable question

  Mark Cuban : The next time I'm drinking in Bloomington, Indiana, I'll ask them about Mike Pence but the next time will be the first time

  Himself - Host : Alright, on Shark Tank you guys grill pretty hard on the people who are proposing their ideas to you and do a lot of research and everything, if someone was coming to you and you guys decide who runs for President what questions would you ask candidates? Like how would you vet them?

  Mark Cuban : [while using his fingers to count]  I'd talk to people who his done business with, if you notice with Trump in the whole convention thing none of his business partners are coming forward to speak, they're not coming forward in the media to say good things about him. They're not coming forward to give him money so that's one red check mark so I'd find out about that. I'd talk to different people his done projects for to find out what was their experience

  Himself - Host : Have you ever done business with him?

  Mark Cuban : One time, I "give and take" with him but we did an MMA project about 2009 I think, just a little deal but nothing of consequence

  Himself - Host : Would you do business with him again? You know billionaire to billionaire?

  Mark Cuban : Yeah I mean as long as he does what I tell him to I'm fine with it
