A great work of video art

The team Gibbs and House make of this Oasis clip something of a beautiful work of art filled with qualities, some insane cuts and one of their greatest musical moments - even though it was the beginning of the end if not the end.

While the band appears performing the song in between many fast cuts, the main images are all cutouts of overimposed images going from background to foreground, in a collage of crazed events, characters, cities, the moon, the atomic bomb and so many other random things that it's really hard to form a whole about what's going over there, it all goes way too fast in a rushed manner and beautifully filmed in a constant constrast of red and black. There are so many cool moments and it's all very inventive - though it had been done before in other videos yet somehow there's something unique here. Plus it's one Oasis finest tracks - though it got a little effersvencent over the years. Still a great moment of theirs. 9/10

Beatles reference: some quick shots of Liam Gallagher where's wearing glasses and you cannot see his eyes at all, which seems like a tribute John Lennon's "Shaved Fish" album cover.
