Why didn't she just untie the goddamn rope instead of picking the padlock? That was so dumb I gave up on it after that.

I like low budget horror, they are my jam But the fact they could not be bothered to untie themselves or...pull rope up the bed post just got to me... Sub par performances- so be warned. If you are not into lower quality things this wont be for you

Will say the mask is creepy for me but still it was an okay enjoyment for me.

Absolutely god awful. How is this a 7.1?????!!!

Horror movie? More like HORRIBLE movie!! Hahaha. No but seriously, i'm as much a film buff as the next guy. I have no clue how this movie is rated a 7.1. That is a good rating for any film, but very high for a horror film. This one deserves nothing over a 3. Not scary in any way shape or form. Not suspenseful, story is mediocre, acting is god awful, with the exception of 1 or 2 people, and I can't even say they tried to make up for it with gore because they don't show anything really.. I beg of you NOT to waste your time on this just because it has a high rating. It is very misleading and inaccurate! I reviewed this title for one reason, to hopefully help take the rating down a notch.

The producers of this movie have obviously paid for positive reviews

This movie is trash. I stopped myself from writing a review, mainly because i was in that i, i do not care mood. However, right after that thought, a scene where a guy has possibly hit a car, that might belong to someone inside the home, plays out. He comes to the door and explains the situation (terribly) and he sees our purring killer in his overalls and bleeding, in a completely, Halloween decorated doorway -_- and doesn't interject with "great costume" or any of the normal banter, you would partake in, with a "bleeding" costumed guy on Halloween. He proceeds to ask if the guy is ok and sir-purrs-alot, kills him. This entire scene killed anything this movie may have had to offer, not to mention, Emphysema Ed and the continuous purring when he has on the gas mask ( and sometimes without) is pretty fucking terrible.

Definitely not a "horror" film, more of a thriller. Acting is good. Halloween decor is awesome. This is obviously a indie film and most indie films look like they were shot with a camcorder. This one looks Pretty darn good. I've seen worse believe me. Just watch it and determine your opinion.

Great Movie!!! A must see!!!

What a fantastic movie. The acting was terrific. The movie kept you engaged throughout with lots of suspense. If you are looking for a great thriller/horror movie, then you won't be disappointed with this movie. Not tons of blood and gore so it should appeal to most audiences. Excellent!

Suspense that holds you on the edge!

I went into this movie with high expectations and I wasn't disappointed! The filming was of great quality and didn't have the feel of an independent movie. The acting was heartfelt and believable. Not only that but the movie portrayed a situation that i feel could really happen. I really felt like I was there with them. Suspenseful, scary and heart pounding. I will recommend this movie to everyone!

A classic horror feel with out the frills

I consider myself a well versed horror movie goer and I'll watch just about everything given a horror title. The Night Before did not disappoint and gave me all the thrill of watching any of the classics. What makes this movie incredible is the no frill approach and realism. You can totally believe that what you're watching could happen to you or anyone you know. Definitely a must watch for the horror fan.

Perfect Halloween Movie

A perfect Halloween Movie! Suspenseful! Leaves you on the edge of your seat screaming for more! Great job!! Not too much Gore which is perfect for me. Creepy, Creepy, Creepy is all I can say for the killer. There are real creeps like that out there and this movie just shows you what these disgusting people could be like. Beware of your surroundings wherever you go!
