Superstore ballot day
safenoe7 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It's the Superstore election day episode, and the staff have heaps of fun with their influence of votes and so on. Mateo confesses that he's an illegal immigrant and is desperately searching for an I Voted sticker to deflect any suspicion about his migrant status.

Some may not like the tenor and tone of this episode and quite curiously there are no IMDb user reviews until around four years after this episode was broadcast.

I always like to give credit to the uncredited cast, so a shout out to Vanessa Alameda as the Poll Worker (uncredited), Elise D'Orazio as a Customer(uncredited), and Danny Gura as Elias (uncredited)

Obnoxious

Warning: Spoilers
I know comedy is supposed to push the line of reality and absurdity, but this episode failed.

Election judges and other people can't unlock those machines. They have a specific procedure to prevent fraud. And if something had happened to the machine, there is a number you're supposed to call, and the company will just come out and take care of it.

Also, there's no electioneering allowed within 50 ft of the voting place, making the whole B story moot.

Lackluster comedy with democratic pandering
MeatWagon91130 May 2022
The core stories of the show are actually enjoyable, but it does seem like there are several attempts of pandering to a specific consumer that do nothing to advance the story.

Though season 2 improved over season 1

(and apparently got even worse in seasons 3,4, and 5)... this episode is a great example of how bad the show is.

Some shows think you can cobble together some crap and throw some "funny" lines in and make something a good comedy.

Really if you could just remove plot lines and chunks of episodes would improve episodes. Just eliminate pretty much all of America Ferrara's scenes and the show instantly gets better.
