The best crossover episode in Netflix history. Seeing the Cali cartel was very enjoyable. But seen blackie and the El Patron himself brought more excitement than ever.

Nice to see the Cali cartel group but awesome to see Escobar, Blackie, Poison n the cocaine hippos.

This is one of the best cross over episode ever and Wagner Moura as Escobar in a cameo is the highlight. His character is young n slim in this one and his usual style of pulling the trouser up n tucking the shirt in is back.

Teresa Ruiz n Fernanda Urrejola are both hot babes.

No fancy gimmicks

No fancy gímmicks. It doesn't need (a lot of) explosions, extreme violence or cosmetics, just pure acting with believable emotion and adrenaline. Therefore, an example on how to represent a whole universe unknown to most of us, and how to concern about it.

Warning: Spoilers
Wagner Moura gave an incredible performance as Pablo Escobar in the original series and even a brief cameo tonight is enough to steal this show.

This was a good episode, but that scene was surely the highlight. Despite all the violence we have already seen this season, this episode, and that moment in particular, truly emphasized the danger these characters are in.

Excellent crossover episode

Warning: Spoilers
Maybe some people are overreacting to this episode, yes it provided a great crossover but that makes it seem like a gimmicky episode which it certainly is not. Even though it's not known if Gallardo and Escobar met, his meetings with the Gentlemen of Cali and Pablo Escobar do fit really well. Not only is it great seeing those faces again, especially Escobar who is somehow made to look younger, but it's a really good hour of plot for Gallardo. And Escobar's final scene with Gallardo is just perfect. It has such a great ambience and a real feeling of tension. The director takes his time, allowing us to savour every detail and take in the atmosphere. It also reveals another side to Pablo.

Kiki finally makes some progress too through risky snooping. To see all the evidence he has gathered by putting his life at risk cast aside by the Americans is frustrating, in a way that makes you sympathise with his situation. The cartel's response when they find out is brutal, killing someone who chose to help Kiki. Of course Kiki feels terrible. But this will probably harden his resolve, not scare him off. 8.9/10

Warning: Spoilers
In "The Colombian Connection" Miguel heads down to Colombia for a business opportunity: the chance to transport the cartels cocaine through his transportation network. This angers Falcón in Tijuana. The Guadalajara DEA branch gets a wiretapping system at the hotel headquarters set up and soon has a treasure trove of information relating to Miguel's empire. They soon publish a report to Washington with their findings, only for it to be ignored.

The cops get their hands on it and assassinate the wiretapping phone company employee and threaten one of the DEA agents, causing him to move him and his family. Kiki devises a plan to get Miguel across the border so they can arrest him on US soil.

The obvious highlight of this episode is the cameo from the headliners over at Narcos. Specifically seeing Pablo again was a bit wild after his demise on that show but we got to remember the time jump here. Moura's such a captivating actor, he's almost too good in his role. It was nice seeing him back for that brief scene. Him and his cocaine hippos were definitely the best scene of the episode.

Even beyond the cameos, I thought this one was really strong. All the acting was really good, we had some fun cat and mouse scenes with Kiki. It's all coming together.
