This is a Malayalam film starring Pranav, son of Malayalam film superstar Mohanlal.
Also in it is a very good supporting cast including Urmila Unni and Jagannathan.
This film is very well directed, edited and shot. All the actors including the debutant Pranav, who is the central protagonist, have performed very well.
The film is truly underrated and is actually a very beautiful movie. I'm surprised to see so few ratings on IMDB although it is highly rated too there.
The film is about the angst of a growing child who has to share responsibilities of running the home along with his single mother. His jealousy towards the younger brother and feeling of not being cared for are very relatable.
The independent streak in him that these responsibilities imbibe aren't understood by those around leading to him getting blamed for circumstantial events.
Harsh lessons thereafter lead him to truly being reborn (Punarjani) as the film's name suggests.
I think parents should show this film to their children in pre-teens. They will learn from it.
