It’s a First Class reunion! With the 20th anniversary of the Oscar-winning film Titanic next month, Kate Winslet met up with two of her co-stars from the 1997 classic on Thursday night at the SAG-aftra Foundation Patron of the Artists Awards.
Winslet,42, who played Rose Dewitt Bukater in the film, was presented with the Actors Inspiration Award by Kathy Bates, who played “The Unsinkable” Molly Brown in the classic.
The pair embraced on stage and backstage, as Winslet accepted the award. Also at the event was Winslet’s on-screen mother, Frances Fisher, who opened up to Et’s Carly Steel about the milestone anniversary of James Cameron’s film.

The 21st annual Hollywood Film Awards, which will take place Nov. 5, will make a substantial yearly contribution to the Motion Picture and Television Fund, it was announced today by Dick Clark Productions, which produces the event. “The Motion Picture and Television Fund does terrific work in the entertainment community. The annual Hollywood Film Awards will take place on November 5 this year at the Beverly Hilton, with organizers saying this year proceeds will benefit the Motion Picture Television Fund. Although Aquaman is still quite a ways down the road from being released, thanks to a casting call site we may have discovered both a new synopsis and confirmation of an actress to appear in the film. On acting-auditions.org a brief synopsis for the film reads as follows.
"Aquaman will center on Aquaman as a reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis who is caught between land dwellers that are always polluting the globe and his own people who are ready to invade the surface. Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Jason Momoa will play Aquaman. Also starring is Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, Hollywood Film Awards winner Amber Heard as Mera, two-time Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, two-time Golden Globe Award nominee Patrick Wilson as Orm/Ocean Master, New Zealand Film and TV Awards winner Temuera Morrison as Thomas Curry, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.
