Interesting that this exists.

I was not finding much on Erzsebet and came across this just after Ann Reinkings death in dec. 2020. It's a good discussion of Fosse between the two of them. With Ann's death it represents the last of the major professional connections with Fosse. RIp Ann Reinking.

Warning: Spoilers
Ann Reinking and Erzsebet Foldi talk at length about their experiences working with Bob Fosse on "All That Jazz." Foldi was a student at the School of American Ballet who lit a cigarette for Fosse as part of her screen test. Reinking remembers the late 1970's as an inspiring time when everyone was at their peak. Foldi reveals that she had fun making the movie as well as learned about jazz and modern dance from Fosse. Reinking points out that Fosse had a lot of passion which permeated the room and had an A type personality. Moreover, both women note that Fosse was a sweet guy who tended to be hard on himself. In addition, they talk about how Roy Scheider would follow Fosse around so he could learn Fosse's mannerisms and that Scheider understood that the movie was about a human being. Lastly, Reinking and Foldi candidly discuss the subject of how narcissism can be a great killer and the intrinsic difficulty inherent in giving everything without losing everything in the process. Worth a watch for fans of the film.
