Anjelah Johnson being herself, a good clean comedy act.

I like Anjelah Johnson, she is cute and smart and her routines are clean. She doesn't rely on the shock value of R-language references and I like that about her. She doesn't just take a bunch of unrelated subjects, instead she gradually lets one subject lead into another, it is almost like one hour-long story.

This film she starts with a short comedy sketch where she is in a car in Hawaii, running late and not knowing how to get to the theater where her performance is scheduled. She has a humorous interaction with a local giving directions that were not helpful at all.

This is a good diversion, comfortably funny all the way through. I loved her explanation why she doesn't think she looks good in high heeled shoes. Her bowed legs.

Absolutely worth watching. Clean and adorable. A continual show of jokes and story telling. She relates to the audience.

3 stars for being cute but... still waiting to laugh

Sorry but I just didn't find her stand up funny. I know it's an incredibly difficult thing to do and no disrespect intended but it just wasn't funny and it's the same ol topics from every other female comedian. Also, does she think she's black? Is she? Halfway through a sentence she just start talking kinda gangsta and it's weird. Appears intentionally and it's supposed to be funny but just makes her sound stupid. It's on purpose? Why? It doesn't fit her look. Its distracting. Anyway, she isn't terrible but I don't think I laughed once and that audience is laughing, hootin & hollerin over what?
