As a "Naruto" manga reader for over 10 years, I'm indeed a great fan of the original series, but I have the habit of skipping the fillers (with very few exceptions). Since the main characters of "Boruto" are introduced in the epilogue of the original manga, I was very curious of how it would be this new series, which doesn't follow a story-line written by original author Masashi Kishimoto.
I was afraid that "Boruto" would turn out like "Dragon Ball GT", but after watching this first episode, I think this series may have a good future. Certain things still feels odd, like the new and modern Konoha, but I'm willing to give this show a try without prejudice and I hope to enjoy it as much as the original story.
