Sex & Nudity

  • There is a witch and she wears semi revealing clothing and is very touchy towards the main character.

Violence & Gore

  • There is no violence against humans which is inflicted by the player. You are only battling Orcs and Uruk-hais. Blood is black. The violence is extremely frequent, almost constant.
  • The violence is very similar to the lord of the rings movies.
  • The Uruk and Olog-hai have black blood so it makes the fighting less obviously towards an intelligent being.
  • Several Prolonged Battle Sequences.
  • Considerably more Violent than the first game. Executions can be very brutal.
  • The 3rd cutscene shows talion (the player) cutting an orks arm off with blood spewing out then in the same motion decapitating him his headless neck is shown with the esophagus still moving. Later the game gives you the ability to do this in gameplay.
  • There is an unlockable Brutalize mechanic that can frighten orcs away. Talion stabs the orc several times.

Profanity

  • Mild swearing such as "Damn" and ''shit''.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Almost none.
  • There are numerous instances of orcs drinking grog, their equivalent of beer (though it's much stronger). Players can use the grog against the orcs as poison or an explosive too.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some orcs are frightening.
  • Violence is somehow comparable to the LOTR/ Hobbit movies.
  • Some orc captains and warchiefs can be disturbing. Ex. Bottom jaw is replaced with a metal one, human bone armor, and really just their faces.
