Solid episode: Spoliers
Kingslaay12 May 2018
This was arguably one of the best episodes of this season.

Things were really taken up a notch, the Winchesters in the other world decide to take everyone to their world. This episode was filled with ironies and comedic twists from Lucifer driving the bus and actually managing to make a case that he is not so bad even though he is the devil. The arrival of Michael was chilling and fans probably feared that the brothers who were the last two on the other side would be held back. Somehow Sam pushed Lucifier back and also escaped. The final scenes with all of the crew in the bunker, eating and celebrating together was truly great to watch. It was satisfying that this was such a big win and it was a feel good moment. One can even see the show being wrapped up for good in its second last episode in this manner, but hope not and the hunt continues.

In the other world we shockingly see the two most powerful angelic beings, Lucifer and Michael hatch a plot to enter the world and take what they want. Now this is really going to go somewhere and nicely built up and we have another episode. Supernatural has produced some great season finales.

Misha Collins, the undisputed king
janedoe530013 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
...of grossly overacting! Holy mother of the lord it was hard enough to watch him as Lucifer, with the exaggerated facial expressions, duck lips and what not, but this just takes the cake. I read in the trivia that, that Misha Collins likes to experiment with different versions of Castiel, and I can sympathize with that, even admire it, but could somebody, the directors perhaps, rein him in?? For Castiels torture happy bizarro version, Misha went with a kind of deranged German-Russian hybrid, who for some unknown reason completely lost control of his lips, and it's just so painful to watch, it reminded me of that viral audition tape with Brian Atene.

I love Castiel, I think Misha does a great job at playing the brooding, kinda sad and sometimes inadvertently hilarious angel, and he was great as a Russian psychopath in "24" (2001), but he just can't pull of these scenery-chewing characters, and he needs to stop trying, or rather, someone needs to stop him!

Otherwise great episode, only came to put this great actor down, a man way more successful than I'll ever be, because that's how petty I am. Maybe I shouldn't post this..

Am i suppose to care about au?

Warning: Spoilers
I just don't care about this world at all, like it only exists for me to affect the real world. Mary is so annoying with her i want to stay.. What's up with Gabriel giving Lucifer the speech when he killed people for fun, maybe they were jerks but a lot of them didn't deserve to die. I liked Lucifer in the ep and i liked what Sam did in the end though it was obvious Michael and Lucifer could work together. We have Charlie and Bobby back which i'm not mad about but i don't really care about it.

What a waste

Warning: Spoilers
In my opinion god should have gave them their father back, their Mom is a selfish person who wants to live alone and she is nota team player, at least not in Sam and Dean team

In this episode Sam was a jerk, I think they should have given Lucifer a chance to reedem himself, well sam knows him the best

Sam and Dean are getting on my nerves
boudica-of-inceni11 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
I know that I'm supposed to like Sam and Dean and they are good and Lucifer is bad, but in this episode I think they're jerks. Supernatural is a show where the there is a big blur where the good guy/bad guy part is. We have seen Sam, Dean, Castiel, Crowley, John, the British Men of Letters, Angels, Demons and all sorts go from one to the other at times so I gotta ask here, who are the "good" guys supposed to be? I do not know the real Lucifer or any angel or demon, but the way Sam did Lucifer in this episode was messed up. Sam, of all people, the one who's always talking about people's good sides and how everything deserves a chance and he goes and screws him over? Why? He had to have known that Lucifer was not about to allow Sam or Dean to get the best of him. I can't believe that brought back Richard, Gabriel, just to kill him off again, that sucked. Then Cas didn't seem cool with the "Sam took care of it (Lucifer)" which I did think was a bad move on so many levels. Now, I am not Team Lucifer here, and yes he has done some messed up things, but he did bring Sam back to life, saved their butts, was helping and was betrayed by Sam and Dean, which I kind of don't blame here, but we have Jack to think about here and when he finds out Sam killed his dad, I don't think he is going to take it well. So, stupid, idiotic, messed up and total d*ck move on the part of the Winchesters.

I like what they did with Jack-Lucy in this episode
CubsandCulture26 July 2021
There's not a lot of time we get to see Jack interact with Lucy his nominal father. This episode does what it can to ground their relationship. I liked the Jack's two uncles bickering a lot-it really grounds the celestial family in a human reality. But I don't like how clunky the ending is-why didn't the episode bother to take 30 seconds to set-up what the Winchesters were doing? The first time you watch this you are left wondering why they are just standing around.

Killing Sam and Dean
blackmagpie-6236812 May 2018
It is very hard to believe that this episode was directed by the person who gave us "Baby" and "Reichenbach". A bit of a let down.

In any event for those strange fans that like season 13 this episode should meet their expectations. It moves the story line a little forward and follows the same tone and pace as previous apocalypse world episodes.

For the even stranger fans (like me) who loved SPN from day one, it is a let down. Most of the episode consists of all the characters standing around giving each other strange and awkward looks. A poor if non existent script. This episode lacks ambiance and emotion, no action worth mentioning, no drama (let's be honest a death in SPN no longer raises an eyebrow let alone draws a tear), none of the darkness or depth or even beauty of some of the older episodes and seasons, just a droll and tedious episode. I really had to struggle to get through this one, it's like a bad soap opera. Lucifer and Mary are just a joke and really have to go !

And the biggest let down, the Winchester brothers with no spark, no wit, no life, no fight. A far cry from the beautiful hunters they used to be, with their warmth, their sense of sacrifice, their fire, their chemistry, their wonderful effort to save lives and humanity. They sit around looking soppy and dopey and wine and dine with the evil they used to kill, they have totally sold out. Dean and Sam, if I didn't know you I would want to hunt you !!

Here's to hoping the show will dare to dare !!

What the hell are you thinking, Sam?
darrelramos14 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Sam is always the soft and rational person among the two brothers. Lucifer has shown restraint with all his powers and the story runs that all along he just wanted his son.

Sam being a heartless human in this episode was a total mess. The writer should have a very good reason why Sam did that to Lucifer and here I am hoping that the next episode/s will justify those actions.

Or maybe the writer ran out of ideas and became lost on the characters.

Also, the alter-Castiel of the other side seems nonsense in the plot. Why would they introduce that person if they would only kill him on the same episode? He just lasted less than 5 minutes I guess. That seems like a plot from nowhere.

I love Supernatural and will always watch it. But please, put some love and a little creativity on the next episodes or Season unless you wanted to kill the show already.

You've gone this far. Have reached heaven and earth (and the other Earth). Please don't let the next episodes be a letup again.
