Pat goes for it hard and fast, with whiplash-inducing movements that peak while Neil Giraldo's guitar rips up the tune to a crescendo. The set was a run-down locomotive repair shop beneath Manhattan's West Side Highway. Norma Kamali threads blended with the exquisite work on hair and makeup by master artist Sharon Slattery. Mixed with the subtle color washes of the lightning design served to create the new look of this energetic female rocker that jolted the music business forever. Director Nick Saxton had to plot to get the tough-girl attitude onto the film. Aware of Pat's feminist views, he chose to offend Pat by telling her to shake her ass. Pat did more than such, and she shook the world doing it. "You Better Run", which was the second music video ever played on MTV, after the Buggles' "Video Killed the Radio Star".
