I believe she is innocent
stavrosalo6 October 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Having watched this episode, I truly believe Rebecca is innocent, all the case is circumstantial and not based on facts. She didn't have anything to gain from killing her husband, no DNA was found, no gun shot residue, all what the prosecutor had was a lame statement from her ex BF (who is serving time and looking for a deal) claiming she once held a knife against him and threatened him to kill him like her husband, I find this hard to believe. I feel sorry for Rebecca I truly believe justice was not served here, hope she gets another chance to prove her innocence. Furthermore i was really disappointed with her mother.

Innocent
foulkesdean3 September 2020
All the evidence was circumstantial in this. She is obviously innocent. They used a convict who wanted to use to get out and then the phone call she made to 911. That has no scientific proof at all. The new DI was just wanting to win a case. Then her mother. Or lack of as she was. For the interviewer though. Piers made a statement to her mother how Rebecca spun him a lie for an hour. Erm. It's an hour Piers not any lengthy time here. Just a snobby prick

A compelling story.

I am just not sure.

This is the first of the stories with Piers (I haven't seen them all) where I've been a little dubious about the sentence.

This was a very watchable story, as always it's a tragedy, a true life crime. It's a shame we weren't given a little more information about Larry, we didn't get much info.

People are more focused on the interviewer, as opposed to the subject, I think he does a good job here, she does the vast majority of talking he doesn't interrupt her a great deal.

Rebecca is a very complex character, I may have been duped by her, but some of the evidence against her seems a little circumstantial, I may well be wrong.

Not sure here, 7/10.

Warning: Spoilers
I came for the interviewees not the interviewer. Yes Piers Morgan is a wang and needs to be punched in the throat with an axe. But this interview is about Rebecca Fenton. She is a well spoken, well educated lady who i believe was very much in love with her late husband. The evidence the police went by was so typical of the american justice system. "Lets close the case and hope it sails in court". It did. Which is very unfortunate for Rebecca. She so clearly didn't do this. No gun shot residue after 5 shots (impossible). No blood on her. Passes 3 lie detector tests (Jeremy Kyle swore by these, they cant possibly not be legit?!) Ok my last point is a joke. But the first, tou would need to be INSANE to not take this into account!!! This just makes it so clear that the American justice system is broken to hell! I'm so sorry Rebecca. You should not be where you are sweetie. I really really hope someone, somewhere, can get you out soon!!!!

Piers' Is a Moron
Mehki_Girl10 March 2020
Piers' is an awful interviewer. All he ends up doing is irritating all the prisoners until they leave in disgust. You actually feel for them. You learn nothing about their crimes. He has all the finesse of a sloppy drunk idiot trying to be charming.

Piers' couldn't find the truth if he entered a room with the perpetrator standing over a still warm corpse with a smoking gun and a bloody knife and the victim was stabbed and shot.

Skip this show and watch any other one. By the time I had watched the third episode, *I* wanted to commit murder.
