a Decent 100-minute series about less-than-often seen topic -Esports.

Warning: Spoilers
Potential spoilers ahead! I won't be giving away events in detail or spoil an outcome of anything in the series. If you want to watch it completely blind, you might like to consider overlooking my humble review. Afterall, It's only hour and a half-long show.

Nerd: Dragonslayer666 follows titular character, 19-year old hardcore Counter-Strike GO player striving to become a legend in esports.

DS666 is a lovely authentic, emotionally dysfunctional in normal social events who we all shut-in NEETs can relate to. He spends most of his time playing CS:GO in his parents' house. His life goes to hell as his mom tosses his PC out the window in rage, setting the wheels of story in motion.

DS666 is really one of the two well developed characters along with mega man. This is a sad thing as i would have really liked to get to know the rest of the cast, who, at least to me, appeared amusing nutty personas, despite being very familiarish archetypes (Pinocchio and Obama were two easygoing, light-in-the-head goofies, for example).

There was also a hint of romance between the main protagonist and a local hottie named Feta Salad, but this areally amounts to nothing in the end. I don't mind, i like to see my nerd series full of nerd humor and life...

...Which brings us to the relative weakness of the show, at least in my opinion, since the series was focusing too much on introducing a myriad of different figures to join his team or brewing aforementioned romantic relationship between DS and Feta, and not showing much of the hardcoreness of being an E-athlete.

i believe this was made to be easily digested by all audiences, aiming to get everybody at least a bit familiar with professional gaming. I can get behind that, but i would have loved to see more non-gamer-alienating, undistilled geeky essence for us gamers. MORE INSIDE JOKES, MORE NERD HUMOR, MORE, MORE, MORE!!!

Also, the matches themselves were barely showed or talked about. There was some Jargon spewed out during the matches, but refrain themselves from showing hardcore competitive FPS action. This can be disappointing for many.

They should really make a longer series out of this material. Now this series is shorter than most movies and it has so much to show and do. Longer length could have been used to flesh out the characters and bring a a bigger look into the world of gaming. Considering the extremely short length of the series, they did well.

The director deserves praise for his work. Aleksi Delikouras show excellent prowess as an director. He should definitely keep on doing more movies/series for our entertainment. This man has skills as both a director and writer.

Dragonslayer666 is a small icon of gamer entertainment and should be used more for this kind of stuff.

Long story short: Opens a window for older generations to peek through and understand life of E-gamers, delivers slightly underwhelming experience for HC gamers or gamers in general looking for the ultimate holy grail of E-sports entertainment.

In the eyes of a gamer, not an E-sports fanatic; 7/10 Not too bombastic but you really don't have many options when you're looking for similar stuff.

It's DragonSlayer666.

First of all, it's DragonSlayer666, not DragonSlayer66 or Dragonslayer666, please fix that and give him some respect. Otherwise, 10 out of 10 series. Definitely would love to see more from Samuel Kujala, i prefer longer episodes than 10-15 minutes, but they were awesome though. I definitely want everyone to watch this series.
