1982’s The Dark Crystal is one of the most beloved cult films in history, as you would expect from a lavish fantasy co-directed by legends Jim Henson and Frank Oz. Fans had held out hope for years that a second installment would eventually be made, but it never managed to escape from development hell.
Luckily, Netflix and their bottomless supply of cash stepped in and announced in 2017 that sequel series Age of Resistance was in the works, and the end result was an acclaimed ten-episode run that spared no expense. Not only was The Incredible Hulk‘s Louis Leterrier hired to direct every episode, but a star-studded cast lent their vocal talents to the hotly-anticipated show.
Taron Egerton, Helena Bonham Carter, Jason Isaacs, Simon Pegg, Mark Hamill, Eddie Izzard, Andy Samberg, Bill Hader, Sigourney Weaver and many more played roles in Age of Resistance, and it appeared as though the...

This Marvel’s Avengers article contains spoilers.
Marvel’s Avengers, the new superhero action game from Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix, sees the return of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to modern platforms. But while the new adventure might let gamers and fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe alike take control of the team as seen in the movies, there’s one character who’s captivated players above all others. I’m of course talking about young Kamala Khan, the Avengers superfan who becomes an inspiring superhero in her own right.
While the game opens with the Avengers at the height of their powers and popularity, it’s really young Kamala (voiced beautifully by Sandra Saad), destined to become the superhero Ms. Marvel, who is at the center of this story. We first meet her in the opening A-Day sequence when terrorists attack San Francisco and unleash...

New tie-in Lego sets for Crystal Dynamics’ upcoming Marvel’s Avengers appear to have revealed numerous previously unannounced characters for the game.
Pushed back from its original May 2020 launch by several months, the developer has since remained relatively quiet in terms of providing new details, with the most recent trailer, released last month, more or less rehashing various sequences and gameplay fans first saw following last year’s E3. Radio silence is often considered to be cause for concern in the industry, though, in this instance, no news is likely good news. Crystal will assuredly be keen to put the extra few months to good use by polishing what’s already shaping up to be a solid action-adventure title.
In the interim, toy company Lego, which has previously revealed a number of tie-in sets for Marvel’s Avengers, has recently showcased several additional products in the line, images of which you can check out below.

After seeing The Hunt, you’ll understand how asinine pre-release protesters now sound. No political identification is safely coddled. Outrageous rhetoric isn’t intended to be taken as propaganda. All citizens and officials from coast-to-coast, border-to-border, get sucker-socked at least a baker’s dozen times. It’s comical how Blumhouse’s aggressively marketed American satire turns out to be just that: punchline exploitation mockery. A gruesome battle royale that makes Ready Or Not‘s classist warfare seem subtle in comparison, pitch-black and thematically barbed in rabidly hilarious ways.
Across internet chatrooms and forums, conspiracy theorists spin yarns about an elitist hunting club dubbed “Manorgate.” Commenters accuse leftist snobs of abducting red-blooded simpletons and killing them for sport. Turns out, somehow, podcasters and vloggers got this one right when “Manorgate” becomes reality for a selection of unlucky contestants. “Rednecks” from Orlando to the Midwest regain consciousness in a field next to an armory of weapons,...
