The graphics, gameplay, environments and story are all better than the original. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece like some of the other folks reviewing this title (are you guys memeing or something?) but it is a very, very solid experience from all angels and a must-play for any fans of the genre.

Another ps5 game I forgot to review. Played and beat this game in coop with its predecessor back to back and I found that this game was a huge improvement from the first one, especially for 2nd player. I think the story tried and somewhat achieved to be better than the first one, but it still was all around forgettable. I did enjoy the leveling up in this one, I also really dug the gameplay in general, definitely a huge improvement over the first one. I will say, despite this game being enjoyable and having a blast with my friend, I basically forgot the entire story, so that's never a good sign. I'd say, to anyone that enjoys couch coop/ platformers, give it a shot.

So, I liked the first Knack game, it was a decent attempt trying to bring back the nostalgia of platform gaming and an option for third-person gaming style lovers like me. In the first game, you play right from the conception of tiny Knack and learn to grow into this huge thing as the game progresses, whilst hulk-smashing everything on your way. It was immensely satisfying playing as the giant Knack.
This new one, I didn't even knew it existed. Knack 1 was heavily promoted as it was one of the launch title's of PS4 but not sure why Sony didn't make a huge deal out of this second installment, maybe even they knew it was an average affair.
I mean don't get me wrong, this game still is entertaining but only in parts. The whole learn and grow thing is out of the window, you begin the game as giant Knack and you Hulk smash your way through everything. For the entire first 8 chapters, this game feels boringly repetitive. Similar moves, similar enemies and similar worlds with not much in the story-line department, it felt boring to play. Especially coming from playing God Of War, this game felt very, very lame and tame. I played on entry level difficulty and nothing was challenging and the same enemies kept appearing over and over again. It's only after chapter 8, things get a bit interesting and the game adds a bit of variety.
The supporting cast are simply there and most of the time do not offer any help. Knack makes his way through obstacles, ledges, holes, boulders and what not and his team just magically appear. Its like they have off-screen teleporters.
Another annoying thing is that this game goes on and on. There were soo many times I felt this is the end and then it goes on for a few more chapters. Stretching the end in 2 additional chapters (14 & 15) was really pointless and done in an unconvincing way. However, the final battle with the Armageddon machine was well-done.
Another annoying thing was, as soon as I started the game, I tried to use the right joystick so I can control the camera and get a better view (just coming off from God Of War), only to be reminded that you don't have that option here. The game controls the camera view for you. Sometimes this is really frustrating as you don't get a better view of surroundings and ledges which you have to leap over to get through. This was the same with the first game and the second game, it only becomes more evident.
Now the positives, giant knack is always fun to control. The hulk-smash bit is awesome, you can just about crush anything in your way. The cinematic battle scenes with inter-active on-screen button-push suggestions is cool and immensely satisfying. The way the game allows you to control various guns, vehicles and robots is really awesome and provides that much needed variety even though it's in small doses.
So final verdict, you can give this game a try if you like the first one. It is a good filler until you wait for the next amazing PS4 release (for me it is Shadow of Tomb Raider). And comparing it with other platform games on PS4, think Rayman and Ratchet & Clank are waaayyyy better.

Knack II is the definitive game for the PS4. Many may say that games such as Uncharted and The Last of Us are the best games you can experience on the system, but these claims are fraught with falacies, the first of which being the obvious oversight within the piece. Because obviously, they are forgetting about KNACK II BABY.
Knack II, with its provocative, well realized and heart rendering story on the level of the Aenied and the Iliad, with its witty cast of characters, and contraversial social commentary on topics such as the American political system, preservation of morality in extreme conditions, and the heated debate over milk withcereal, or no. Knack II, with its incredibly engaging gameplay that intertwines with the phenominal story, and graphics that rival even the likes of Life of Black Tiger, Knack II is fully deserving of all the praise it has recieved. I give this game my first ever 100/10. Mastapeice.

Knack 2 is one of the single greatest achievements all of mankind has ever achieved. With inspired symbolism and complex, emotional characters, this truly is deserves the recognition of the greatest game of all time.

Ok ice knack ladies and geltmens.hust gameplay feels so dynamic.gameplay super fun story just i really can't expressit is so good it is without no doubt up there with garfild 2 and transformers yeah this is spoiler review but still i don't want to spoil this masterfully done game.must have for all ps4 players and i'll be giving knack 2 a 10 out of 5 knacksterpice ice is nice
