"Lint Catcher", Marco returns to Mewni but finds out that he doesn't have a real cape on and it's just something the king uses to put his food on! Marco wants to be a knight but it turns out King River was exaggerating the promises he had for him. He decides to instead be a squire and he manages to work for a knight who works with the laundry. The best part is how it turns out that handling the laundry is the most dangerous job in the entire castle! It's great to see Marco take on such a difficult task and overcoming it. He's still a strong fighter. ***1/2
"Trial by Square" features Star and Marco going to a store to buy things for a list to prove that he can be her squire. Unfortunately, there's lots of other knights and squires who manage to get all the good stuff at the last minute, basically bullying him. Marco's had enough so he decides to bully everyone else so he can get the last item. Star says that it's wrong to mistreat other people even though they mistreated him. What a wonderful moral! They decide to just buy some random stuff and play with it. There's gnomes from "Gravity Falls" and then a catch phrase from "Phineas And Ferb". Awesome! ****
