Actually really good!

I'm very impressed, I liked this a lot more than I expected to. I've felt fatigued with all the Harley Quinn DC insists on throwing at us so wasn't overly excited for a new animated tv but I'd heard good things so I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did! Kaley Cuoco brings a fresh and very likeable Harley to life in a funny, action-packed and enjoyable adventure. It's a version of Harley we can root for but is true to the character, it's a well realised world around her, it's good, tongue-in-check but respectful in their own way, versions of Joker, Riddler, Batman and of Poison Ivy and a less respectful but laugh out loud funny interpretation of Commissioner Gordon. It's a lot of fun!

The story revolves around Harley finally managing to get over the Joker and see he treats her like garbage (eventually). The adult cartoon delivers everything it promises and more, setting up the season in a promising opener that sets up the season but also delivers a satisfying stand alone story. Thumbs up

The Harlequin smashes it out of the park!

Wow! I'm incredibly impressed with this opening episode. I haven't seen the character of Harley Quinn done justice in anything but the comic books. Until now! This could potentially be the perfect vehicle for Harley & her adventures.

This episode does a great job of telling Harley's story and exploring her complex relationship with the Joker, without sacrificing the laughs or levity. We get a necessary amount of background information on the character without getting bogged down in exposition. It all feels incredibly seamless!

The voice acting is superb. The voice actors all seem like they're really having fun with their roles. I particularly love the portrayal of Poison Ivy as an aloof misanthrope with a roll-her-eyes-at-everything attitude. The Riddler is adorable too.

The show is way more violent and crass than I was expecting - a total plus for me. The animation is gorgeous and the fight scenes are exhilarating. Just beautiful to look at.

This opener sets the bar extremely high for the series. I can't wait to see HQ attempt to forge her own path in Gotham sans Joker.

Oh, we got a live one here!

A great start, and a total laugh riot. A refreshing blend of carnage and comedy. Think of it as "Batman: The Animated Series"... if it were directed by Quentin Tarantino. 'Nuff said.

Harley's Time To Shine

This is exactly what I hoped a Deadpool animated TV series would be like, but instead with Harley Quinn. A great pilot and introduction to this R rated animated Gotham and it's star, Harley Quinn! I like the different take on Gordon and Batman is great as a one to two words secondary character. Brutally violent and comedic at the same time, this show has some great potential.

With an excellent voice cast and bright, vivid animation, this is 'Batman: The Animated Series'... on crack. Not one to watch with the young 'uns!

'Til Death Do Us Part

Harley Quinn is a cartoon that is certainly not aimed at kids.

Featuring a string of four letter words. This is a cartoon laced with crack cocaine and aimed at the Deadpool market.

This is an irreverent first episode as Poison Ivy tries to wean Harley Quinn off her obsession with the Joker.

The clown prince of crime's only true love is Batman. HQ is only a distant second.

A violent dark twist to the antiheroine cartoon concept. It is presented like a kids cartoon but aimed for those older.

Tonally off to a great start
nightimerunner11 December 2019
If DC is determined to make a Deadpool-ish dark comedic animated serie, the first episode/pilot showed it is tonally at the right footing at least for now. Giving the DC characters more comedic but not solely satirical human treatment avoided the quite so often "so dark, heavy, and serious, it's laughable" DC trope. There may be a keeper, we shall see.

Edgy and Juvenile
sundialpictures-0165730 June 2021
Right off the bat (no pun intended), this show seems to be aimed at foul mouthed teenagers that enjoy feeling like they get away with something when they watch a show. Part of me understands that this is meant to be the world according to Harley Quinn; the viewer is meant to experience the show as if Harley were telling the story. That explains the coarse language, the extreme violence, the juvenile tone, the innuendo aplenty, etc. I just don't happen to like edgy entertainments like this, that's why this is probably going to be my first and last episode.

"Bring it bit**!"

Harley Quinn the show is both great and hilarious, with an animation stunningly beautiful that reminded me of the animation in Into the Spider-Verse. Colorful, a great change in comedy, and a star turn by Kaley Cuoco as Harley Quinn in the lead role, this first episode foreshadows what looks to be a promising season. The opening sequence was fantastic, the segment with Calendar Man was hilarious, and the final action sequence was great. The episode comes with its own plot twists too, and a very drastic change in comedy on the show which even applies to Batman and the rest of the characters who are meant to be serious. But for reasons of this show, this episode was funny, great, and a promising start to the season.

Entertaining and crass
K_Rad8812 October 2022
I'm late to the party here but this is a great series so far. Harley is edgey, slick, and a little stupid but she's just the best. Can't wait to catch up and see what Kaley gets up to šŸ¤£

The casting is really good, I'm not happy I have to write so many characters for a show I've only seen one episode of but if you love cartoons, comics, well drawn and cast characters and cartoon gore with tonnes of innuendo and naughty words then this is definitely a show you'll enjoy. I wish I knew about it in 2019 that's for sure, it's entertaining as hell. I don't know why it feels so nostalgic it's like they made it for me as an adult!
