- There are some songs with mild sexual innuendo and suggestive dance moves present in Just Dance 2018, with significantly less censorship than previous games. However, the game also offers a "Kids' Mode" that is completely free of objectionable content.
- Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" contains the lyrics "Grab on my waist and put that body on me" and "Last night you were in my room/now my bedsheets smell like you".
- Ariana Grande's "Side to Side" contains suggestive lyrics such as "Feeling like I wanna rock with your body" and "If you wanna Minaj, I got a tricycle".
- Britney Spears' "Slumber Party" contains the lyric "We use our bodies to make our own videos".
- Beyonce's "Naughty Girl" contains the lyrics "I'm feeling sexy", "I'm feeling kind of n-a-s-t-y", and "I know you want my body". The dance routine also features a woman in a midriff-baring outfit and some hip thrusting.
- DNCE's "Kissing Strangers" contains the lyrics "Lick on his lip-lip" and "I think he's trying to hit young Nick like the quick pic" (referring to "hitting" sexually).
