"65 Million Years Ago" was Paul's first hand-drawn film since 1995, and used TV Paint primarily for the animation. 450 hours of work went into the film from May 2017 - January 2018, at an average of 15 hours/week while working full-time in studio.
Paul started his "Anyone can Animate" series while producing "65 Million Years Ago", comprised of 8 time-lapse animation sections ranging from 3-10 minutes, with commentary added after the fact to observe and describe his process in layman's terms based on his 15 years teaching animation.
