Biased but true
DeliciousCookiez18 February 2020
Entertaining and informative, good sources and structured in a good way. The problem with the episode, however, is that it is biased and tries to manipulated the viewer. It's not that it paints Trump as bad, it is Dirty Money after all, but that when it starts to talk about politics it clearly does not speak ovjectivly and paint the voters as gullible fools and his whole campaing as a scam. It's also in the word choices, like calling Duerte a killer(which he is, but I doubt they would call Obama the same)

I disagree with the negative reviews

This was not a hit job by Netflix. Everything in this documentary is backed up with documentation. His supporters do not want to hear the truth. Watch it and make up your own mind.

The CON-Man

Warning: Spoilers
Yes, America elected a reality TV image as President of the United States. This series uncovers dirty money in many industries and trades. The most fascinating of all was saved for last The Confidence Man portrays Trump in the true light of his character. Never a big thinker, never a hard worker, but one incredible manipulator of truth. He was and is "an image". He doesn't make the greatest deals, he doesn't work in the lush penthouse built by producers for "The Apprentice" (because his own office is so shabby); he's been bailed out by his dad and bankrupted a billion dollars borrowed to build his Taj Mahal casino in New Jersey, leaving contractors and construction people holding all of his debt. Such a miserable failure, the only thing worth money was his name. So he began licensing his name to business ventures, with no role in the business. This made him appear as a global brand. You elected the greatest slight of hand artist born in the last century. You put a man, convicted of fraud, into the white house. All based on an image from a reality TV show. How gullible Americans have become.

Absolute masterpiece!

Not only is it crazy entertaining but one of the best documentaries Netflix have done so far. Trump supporters might feel bad and review the episode as biased to try and justify their gullibility, but their emotions aside, it's a true masterpiece.

Digs a little below the surface

The Apprentice was must watch programming for me. I bought into the myth. This episode is one of the more interesting episodes. The episode is negative for Trump but they lay out the information and facts and chronology very well. Watch it with an open mind and you will agree if something seems to be too good to be true is is fake.

Good, objective analysis

I don't find this documentary to be biased as previous reviews have written. All claims were backed with hard evidence to support them. I thought this was a good and thorough analysis on Trump's financial endeavors and shows both sides of their aftermath. Please watch for yourself before assuming how biased this really is.

Not Biased

To the close-minded clowns who use their entire 1% brain capacity to respond to this show as being biased - just so you know - bias is based on a prejudice related to the way you feel about someone or something. It's not bias when you're stating facts; which, this show didn't even delve into many facts surrounding Trump's loans through a known, corrupt, money laundering bank - Deutsche Bank. I think Trump is a scumbag. Now that's bias.

Simply a hit-piece from Netflix

If they can sympathize with the first guy in episode one and make him human what makes Trump different? Straight negative negative negative like what is this a negative soup episode. "only close minded people paint their enemies as a one dimensional villain this is the real world not a comic-book story.". I'm a classic liberal and I'm not surprised they didn't start from the past from the mob in the 1940s to present for episodes 1-5. if i were to say something good to watch is Clinton Cash after watching this episode so you can hate both Trump and Clinton. No human is without sin.

Five haters complain about Trump for about an hour. Nothing but anecdotal negative stories. Very bad journalism.

Bias content

Writing is mediocre to bad not because it's about trump but because it is bias. Blatantly calling duterte a killer, why not call all of America killers government etc.
