• Firefly : [searching for Miss Martian]  Where'd she go?

  Mera : [pops up from behind the crates]  Maybe I can help you. You're Firefly, right? I'm Mera. Kinda crazy bumping into here. I mean, we were just talking about you in Know-Your-Enemy Class.

  Firefly : [points his flame gun at her]  Where's Miss Martian?

  Mera : [pretending to be clueless]  Who? I'm terrible with names. And ever since I started at Superhero High, it's just been one introduction after another.

  Firefly : Outta my way!

  [blasts fire at her, prompting her to dodge out of the way] 

  Mera : No!

  [controls the water to blast Firefly back] 

• [Mera uses her powers to make a wave crash down on the docks, putting the fire out. She then rises up on top of the wave, riding her pet seahorse Storm] 

  Mera : Back off, Firefly.

  Firefly : [aims his flame gun at her]  I'll get you.

  [Mera sends out a blast of water from the wave, sending Firefly flying through several metal containers, knocking him out. Miss Martian flies up to Mera] 

  Mera : We have a saying where I come from. If you play with fire, you're gonna get wet.
