A Masterpiece!

Will Steger's legacy of polar explorations are documented in this important film showing changes in earth's polar regions since 1989. He explores both Antarctica and the Arctic regions in this riveting and personal story of Will's life and journeys. The cinematography and sound is exceptional, as is the music soundtrack. The soundtrack adds to the tense scenes in the Antarctic voyage. It is a true masterpiece.

Powerful and Beautiful!

After Antarctica a stunning and thought provoking documentary about one of National Geographic most famous polar explorers Will Steger. The film beautifully weaves Will's personal life story and his legendary team and solo expeditions to Antarctica and the Arctic. Follow along on a thrilling and nail biting journey across Antarctica with an international team of six scientists and explorers on the first coast-to-coast dogsled traverse of the continent (the historic seven month, 3,741-mile International Trans-Antarctica Expedition in 1989-1990). The films visuals of Antarctica and Arctic are breathtaking! Best Documentary!

Awesome, suspenseful film.

Awesome, suspenseful film, with beautiful cinematography of Antarctica, the Arctic, and archival footage of the 1989 international explorer team. This film captures legendary Will Steger's unforgettable explore story and his close relationship with a team of five international explorers and scientists from China, France, Great Britain, Japan, and the former Soviet Union. This international explorer collaboration helped to secure ratification of the Antarctica mineral treaty during the Republican administration of George H. W. Bush. This is a must see film about the past, present day, and our future!
