Without question, the best part of the 2018 Nurse's Ball was Mike Corbin's (as portrayed by Max Gail) performance. It was heart-achingly beautiful and emotional and it both entertained and focused the spotlight on his character's battle with Alzheimer's story arc. While Gail has been mesmerizing every time he has been on screen during his appearances on General Hospital, this episode was an unexpected and beautiful treat. Simply the best current performance in daytime television.

Amidst all of the bad storylines right now it looks like GH stumbled into a good episode here. A cliffhanger at the end with Henrik meeting Anna, some baby drama on the side of the road and a great number to close out the Nurses Ball, something that desperately needed it.
