Warning: Spoilers
Another decent episode. There was a large focus on Kat this episode, and while that's cool and fairly engaging, like I said before, Rue is by far the most interesting part of the show. It feels like the show is becoming more like a coming of age teen drama by the episode when I think it has the potential to be much more, as proved by the very powerful closing moments which were phenomenally acted by Zendaya. It's a shame that she seems to have not got quite so much screen time in these last two episodes as in the pilot. Maybe next episode we'll get more of it after she contacts the NA guy at the end. Nonetheless, I like the show's humanistic approach to its drama. I just think that apart from Rue, it's nothing new, in terms of writing anyway. Stylistically, it is adventurous which I appreciate, even if I'm not the biggest fan. Things like the One Direction animated bit and the d pic slideshow are unique qualities of the show which I definitely respect. I just hope that future episodes go back to more of a focus on Rue, but I'm not sure they will given that each episode seems to dedicate more time to its own character

I freaking love this show

"I hate everyone else in the world but you."

all episodes are intense, especially the first one, and damn, this one maintains the level of intensity and at certain moments it intensifies.

And I won't even comment on the composition of the scene between Jules and Nate because it's just brilliant.

Mostly about Kat Hernandez (Barbie Ferreira)

I'm really enjoying this high school show! A lot of graphic content in each episode though, so you have to be ok with that! "X gonna give it to ya" haha such a great song! Also there's some sweet camera shots like when it pans out when Rue was in the hall and the overhead desk shots, definitely has some beautiful cinematography. Not a bad episode, Zendaya is exceptional! Hate it or love I'll go with the latter.

Sound problems
rtom4111 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I have seen the first 3 episodes and I really want to see what happens as the series moves along. I have one very big complaint. The voices are almost always drowned out by the music which is much louder than the dialogue. I am constantly turning the sound up and down to try to hear what the characters are saying. Overall I love the show but I wish I could hear what is being said.

Understanding 🇬🇧

A young looking doctor, with dark hair, and green eyes walked into the room. His white coat tells me he is Doctor Aaron Asher. I cannot help but to think how Bobe would approve of this doctor, but he does not have a happy expression, it looks rather grim.

A turn for the worst...in a good way.

Addicts are coming down off drugs, both literally and figuratively. Teenagers are finding their self-confidence, though in promiscuous ways. Sexualities are being tested and discovered, and drug dealers have morals. There may be a lot going on, but the characters sure do have brains, and a lot of heart.

This show is only okay so far.
smithzed11 March 2022
It's gone into its third episode, and the plot hasn't been able to engage me much at all - the only highlights have been the cinematics of it, but when I watch a television programme I expect to be entertained or gripped by the material, not just looking at some artsy camera shots where everybody looks very sad.

Nice TV show so far, but kinda overrated
funnycommentor1 March 2022
The plot of the 3rd episode was nice, we had the chance to get to know Kat better. The characters keep getting developed a lot and I'm glad to, because they're all very interesting. I have to admit that I was shocked of how severe the sex and nudity is. In my opinion, the TV show is just nice so far and I think it's kinda overrated. Anyway, the toxic relationship between Maddy and Nate is portrayed really well and I hope they're gonna break up, because they're both very unlikeable characters.

Sexuality, drugs, online talks
AvionPrince165 December 2022
Warning: Spoilers
So yeah we follow Rue again and her drug addictions. We see also Tyler who talk with Jules online. Things get pretty dirty and we have the tutorial to make good dick pics. And we can see later many pics of Tyler genitals. Kat will enter in the humiliations and online stuff because of money and she will finally like it and have more joy and pleasure to do it. Cassie go to a party and we see how weird she is. Jules and Tyler will meet very soon and that will pretty interesting to see their reactions. Rue and Jules have a particular relationship and how Rue react can make us think that she will assume a lesbian side? Or just scared to lose a friend? I dont really know.

The episode was pretty great and really reflect realities of some life. The nudity, the sex talks, the online stuff who people are able to pay a lot of money for sex and humiliation(the man with Kat and his tiny genital). The drugs. Really the tv show dont hide things: we can see all in the crude visuals and languages: it can be appreciated or not but it cant let you indifferent.
