Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 has received an official release date in theaters — Dec. 5, 2025.
The move was among a handful of key additions and changes Universal and prolific partner Blumhouse made to their 2025 theatrical calendar, including pushing back the release of M3GAN 2.0 by a month, from May 16 to June 27.
Previously, The Black Phone 2 was set to open on June 27, 2025. It will now go out months later on Oct. 17, 2025.
The Five Nights at Freddy’s sequel wasn’t the only pic getting a release date for the first time.
Blumhouse’s original horror-thriller The Woman in the Yard will open on March 28 of next year, followed quickly by Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse’s thriller Drop on April 22.

The reimagined Exorcist franchise has faced a significant setback, with Universal and Blumhouse currently on the hunt for a new director following David Gordon Green’s departure from the sequel to The Exorcist: Deceiver. Green is opting to focus on his other projects, including the production of Nutcrackers starring Ben Stiller and season four of HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones. David Gordon Green stepped away from the franchise after directing last year’s The Exorcist: Believer. Despite Universal’s substantial $400 million investment, the film was a major letdown, garnering only $136.2 million globally. As a result, fans are eagerly anticipating how Mike Flanagan

Recent horror revival, The Exorcist: Believer, proved to be a massive disappointment for fans of William Friedkin's original masterpiece, but it did actually end up performing pretty well at the box office, which means Universal Pictures and Blumhouse intend to forge ahead with the next instalment in the planned trilogy.
Shortly after the movie hit theaters, we learned that director David Gordon Green had decided not to helm The Exorcist: Deceiver, and the studio has now enlisted a filmmaker that's sure to reignite interest.
According to Jeff Sneider (since backed-up by Deadline), none other than Mike Flanagan is in talks to helm the next Exorcist movie. Whether it will keep the "Deceiver" subtitle is unclear, and we're not sure if the cast of Believer will return - although given the previous film's reception, there's a good...

Mike Flanagan, the prolific filmmaker behind “The Haunting of Hill House,” “Doctor Sleep” and “The Fall of the House of Usher,” is in talks to direct “The Exorcist” sequel for Universal and Blumhouse, an individual with knowledge of the situation told TheWrap. The source stressed it’s early days and a deal is far from guaranteed, but there is interest from both sides and Flanagan has a take on the material.
Universal directed TheWrap’s inquiry to Blumhouse, who had no comment.
In 2021, Universal shelled out $400 million for the rights to the “Exorcist” franchise and planned a trilogy of films, but director and cowriter David Gordon Green exited the series after directing last year’s “The Exorcist: Believer,” despite having mapped out the next two films.

Universal and Blumhouse aren’t ready to give up on their new “The Exorcist” trilogy just yet. It seems that a new The Exorcist movie is in the works and no, Russell Crowe is not attached to play the priest who will be doing the exorcising in the movie. But, the upcoming Blumhouse and Universal horror film has seemingly found its director after David Gordon Green, who directed last year’s reboot film The Exorcist: Believer, left the project altogether. As things stand now, renowned genre filmmaker Mike Flanagan is in talks to direct the next Exorcist movie, and based on his earlier work, this might be a hit for the two studios.
Not much is known about the project, as it is still in the early production phases, but we know that the two companies plan to make two additional films, completing the sequel (reboot) trilogy. In fact, Green’s The Exorcist: Deceiver was supposed to come out on April 18, 2025, but after Green’s exit, the movie was postponed indefinitely.

One of last fall’s biggest flops was David Gordon Greene’s limp attempt to revive the “Exorcist” franchise for Blumhouse and Universal. “The Exorcist: Believer” was met with intense pans and a worldwide gross of $137 million. That number may not sound so bad at first until you remember that the rights to the franchise alone cost $400 million. While there have been several sequels (plus a double-prequel) to “The Exorcist” since the groundbreaking original that won Oscars for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Sound (plus seven other nominations including Best Picture), this was the first one to bring Ellen Burstyn back into the world of ancient evils and demonic possession.
Green’s departure from the series was announced in January, and current horror mainstay Mike Flanagan is looking like he will step in, as per a report in Deadline.

Universal Pictures and Peacock forked over an amount somewhere in the range of $400 million to acquire the rights to distribute a trilogy of sequels to the 1973 classic The Exorcist, which we’re going to another collaboration between Blumhouse Productions and director David Gordon Green (who recently delivered a trilogy of Halloween sequels), they were definitely expecting the first entry in the new trilogy to go over better with audiences than The Exorcist: Believer did when it was released last October. (You can read our 4/10 review Here.) The box office numbers were okay, the movie pulled in $137 million on a $30 million budget, but Universal was hoping for a lot better than “okay,” and viewer reactions were largely negative. Soon after the release of Believer, we heard that Universal and Blumhouse still intended to carry out the trilogy, but the follow-ups would be reworked – and Green had left the project. Now it...

Following the exit of David Gordon Green, Doctor Sleep and The Haunting Of Hill House director Mike Flanagan is in talks to make the next Exorcist.
Horror specialist Mike Flanagan – director of The Shining sequel Doctor Sleep and TV’s The Fall Of The House Of Usher, among other things – could be about to direct the next film in the Exorcist franchise.
The report, courtesy of Deadline, comes in the wake of the icy reception to 2023’s The Exorcist: Believer, intended to be the first part of a trilogy directed by David Gordon Green. After that film’s critical and financial disappointment, Green announced his departure from the franchise in January, and Blumhouse boss Jason Blum hinted that a future sequel would take a somewhat different approach.
“We are definitely going to make another Exorcist movie,” Blum said in March, “but I wanted more time to figure out what it would be.

Recent comments from producer Jason Blum suggested that a retool was in order when last year’s The Exorcist: Believer wasn’t as successful as Blumhouse and Universal hoped. That certainly seems to be the case, as Deadline reports tonight that Mike Flanagan is in talks to direct the next Exorcist movie.
Director David Gordon Green was initially on board to direct an entire trilogy of new movies in the franchise, with The Exorcist: Believer intended to be only the first film in that three-film sequel series. Originally set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025, sequel The Exorcist: Deceiver was delayed when Green left the project.
If talks come to fruition, Flanagan will take over, likely steering the franchise in a new direction.
The first film in the trilogy was released theatrically on October 13, 2023, with Leslie Odom Jr. starring alongside a returning Ellen Burstyn from the original classic.

Renowned genre filmmaker Mike Flanagan (The Life of Chuck) is in talks to direct the next Exorcist film for Blumhouse and Universal Pictures, sources have confirmed to Deadline.
Uni and Blumhouse declined comment. Should a deal make, Flanagan would take over the reins from David Gordon Green, who exited the rebooted franchise back in January. Universal and Blumhouse bought rights to The Exorcist from Morgan Creek back in July 2021 for $400M, and while the plan at that point was for at least three new films to be made, it’s unclear whether Flanagan would be on for more than one.
Starring Leslie Odom Jr. as well as franchise veteran Ellen Burstyn, trilogy launcher The Exorcist: Believer fell beneath expectations when it opened to a soft $26.4M domestic last October, going on to gross $65.5M U.S./Canada, $136.2M WW.

It may not seem like it but The Pope’s Exorcist was a hit at the box office last year, scaring up $76.9 million on a production budget of just $18 million. Academy Award winner Russell Crowe plays real-life exorcist Gabriele Amorth in the horror film, and it didn’t take long for Screen Gems to start thinking about a sequel. It seems it’s now actually happening.
The Pope’s Exorcist producer Jeff Katz took to Twitter last night to officially announce The Pope’s Exorcist 2, tweeting: “Amorth Nation — I just got the call. It’s officially happening!”
Katz added in last night’s tweet, “Thank you to the amazing #ThePopesExorcist fans. You made this happen. Gas up your Lambretta – and get ready to ride.”
According to a recent interview with Russell Crowe, a trilogy had originally been planned at Screen Gems, which could end up happening if the sequel performs as well as the first film.

It looks like Russell Crowe cannot leave behind the horror and mystery genres so soon. According to an official update from The Pope’s Exorcist’s producer, Jeff Katz, the 2023 film will receive a sequel soon. The horror film was a sleeper hit at the box office and, despite not being perfect, was liked by many.

The Pope’s Exorcist mostly earned mixed reviews from critics. However, it seems like the makers want to mimic the first film’s unexpected success. Earlier this year, Russell Crowe discussed the possibility of numerous follow-ups to the Julius Avery directorial. Jeff Katz has now confirmed that the universe will expand and follow the blueprint of the Planet of the Apes franchise for its title.

Russell Crowe plays an actor playing an exorcist in the first look at his meta horror movie. Check out the The Exorcism trailer below…
Earlier this week, we noted with some surprise that Russell Crowe – who memorably played Father Gabriele Amorth in last year’s The Pope’s Exorcist – is set to don his priestly garb once again for a new horror movie.
At the time, The Exorcism (previously known as The Georgetown Project) was but a twinkle in the UK release calendar's eye. Despite being picked up for distribution by Vertigo in the US, a UK date was, and remains, somewhat elusive.
But that won’t stop us from getting unreasonably excited about the film’s first trailer. Check it out below…

Everyone has done jobs they're not particularly proud of in their past. For actors, any of these past works are in the public eye, even if some go on to be largely forgotten. This includes the fan-favorite horror genre, from cheap, grindhouse and direct-to-video schlock to big-budget misfires. Beyond the quality of the movies, some actors just didn't have particularly pleasant experiences behind-the-scenes, leading them to distance themselves from their projects after completion. Every actor has a handful of films that they wish they hadn't signed on for, and with the benefit of hindsight, several have gone public with their regrets.
From established genre icons disappointed at their respective franchise returns to newcomers trying to get their start, horror has no shortage of movies Hollywood stars want off their resume. In a particular instance, one actor's horror movie experience led them to not only regret their participation, but quit acting altogether.

Universal Pictures and Peacock forked over an amount somewhere in the range of $400 million to acquire the rights to distribute a trilogy of sequels to the 1973 classic The Exorcist, which we’re going to another collaboration between Blumhouse Productions and directed David Gordon Green (who recently delivered a trilogy of Halloween sequels), they were definitely expecting the first entry in the new trilogy to go over better with audiences than The Exorcist: Believer did when it was released last October. (You can read our 4/10 review Here.) The box office numbers were okay, the movie pulled in $137 million on a $30 million budget, but Universal was hoping for a lot better than “okay,” and the reactions were largely negative. Soon after the release of Believer, we heard that Universal and Blumhouse still intended to carry out the trilogy, but the follow-ups would be reworked. It’s no secret that last year’s The Exorcist: Believer wasn’t as successful as Blumhouse and Universal hoped it would be, neither critically nor financially. Director David Gordon Green was initially on board to direct an entire trilogy of new movies in the franchise, with The Exorcist: Believer intended to be only the first film in that three-film sequel series.
It was all part of a massive $400 million deal to bring the franchise back to life on the big screen, and The Exorcist: Deceiver had in fact already been dated for release on April 18, 2025.
Those plans have changed, however. We recently learned that David Gordon Green will not be directing Deceiver as planned, and the movie altogether may have gone up in smoke.
Where does the franchise go from here? Will the original trilogy plans come crashing down, now that David Gordon Green has moved on from the director’s chair?...

Following the critical and financial disappointment of The Exorcist: Believer, producer Jason Blum says another film is still happening, but suggests a rethink is afoot.
If Universal and Blumhouse expected to set up some kind of ectoplasmic blockbuster franchise with The Exorcist: Believer, they were probably a bit disappointed when the scathing reviews began to roll in last October. They were probably even more disappointed with the box office returns of roughly $137m – a figure said to be considerably below initial expectations.
In the aftermath, the 2025 release window for its sequel, The Exorcist: Deceiver, was quietly closed, and plans for a trilogy were called into question as a result. Universal paid a startling $400m for the Exorcist rights, though, so the studio’s hardly going to let the franchise fade from view entirely.

Blumhouse Pictures CEO Jason Blumhouse revealed why The Exorcist: Deceiver was removed from the studio's release schedule.
In January, The Hollywood Reporter revealed director David Gordan Green had left the in-development sequel to The Exorcist: Believer, titled The Exorcist: Deceiver.
Deceiver, which was set to debut in April 2025, was then completely removed from the release calendar of Universal Pictures, the distributor that bet big on the Exorcist by purchasing the franchise's worldwide rights for a whopping $400 million in 2021 and planning a trilogy with Green.

The Exorcist will return soon. It’s been 50 years since the original film scared audiences around the country. The Exorcist was a landmark horror film that managed to garner ten Oscar nominations including Best Picture. This is a rarity for horror movies. The movie walked out with two awards: Best Sound and Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material from Another Medium. Since then, no other Exorcist film has come close to matching the success and quality of the first entry. David Gordon Green is looking to change that. The writer/director is fresh off his stint of revamping the Halloween series.

Russell Crowe’s The Pope’s Exorcist, inspired by the true story of the Chief Exorcist of the Vatican, Father Gabriele Amorth, landed crazy reviews following its release. While most fans found the movie extremely bizarre, and even the Golden Raspberry Awards, aka the Razzies, offered the worst actor nomination to Crowe, Japanese video game designer Hideo Kojima found the movie amusing.

What exactly is a legacy sequel? According to the internet, it is “a work that follows the continuity of the original work(s), but takes place further along the timeline, often focusing on new characters with the original ones still present in the plot.” And boy have they gotten popular. From The Exorcist: Believer to Halloween 2018 to even Netflix’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre, they’ve been churning out steadily. Hell, we got a freaking Mutilator 2 out of it (and who would have ever expected that?). And it’s hard not to wonder why we’re getting so many.
Originality can be a hard thing for financiers to gamble on. This is why we find ourselves amid trend after trend that takes over movie theaters until the general public is sick of it. As soon as something hits, they go after it like rabid dogs till there’s nothing...

David Gordon Green, the filmmaker behind Universal’s Halloween trilogy and The Exorcist: Believer, is leaving horror behind to direct a family drama starring Ben Stiller about a man connecting with his unruly nephews after a tragic accident claims their parents’ lives. The feature-length project is a hard left turn at Albuquerque for Green, who’s spent most of his recent filmmaker career bringing Halloween’s Michael Myers and William Peter Blatty’s Exorcist back to the horror fold. Is Green leaving horror for good, or is Nutcrackers a breath of fresh air before he returns to the bloody and brutal genre?
On Wednesday, Rivulet Films, Rough House Pictures, and Red Hour Films announced that Linda Cardellini, Edi Patterson, Tim Heidecker, and Toby Huss have joined Ben Stiller in the film based on a script by Leland Douglas.

David Gordon Green's "Halloween" trilogy made a lot of spooky coin for the folks at Blumhouse Productions, so it seemed like a no-brainer that the director would be the one to take the reins on a new trilogy of films based on "The Exorcist." The House that Blum Built spent a pretty penny obtaining the rights to the legendary horror film, which meant there was a lot riding on Dgg's first film, "The Exorcist: Believer," to prove this was a prime investment. While the film fortunately brought in over $137 million at the box office against a reported $30 million budget, this doesn't take into consideration the money spent on an aggressive marketing campaign, the astronomical amount they spent for the rights, and lackluster reviews from critics and audiences alike.
The future of the trilogy — with the follow-up film already titled "The Exorcist: Deceiver" — looked grim, but now it seems...

Well, this isn’t much of a surprise given the recent box office result of 2023’s “Exorcist: Believer” movie, a reboot and legacy sequel to the original William Friedkin “Exorcist” movie from 1973 made by Blumhouse and Universal. Filmmaker David Gordon Green is exiting the franchise, the search is on for a new filmmaker, and in the interim, Universal has taken the sequel, “The Exorcist: Deceiver” sequel, off the calendar.

David Gordon Green is parting ways with “The Exorcist: Deceiver” sequel reboot after previously directing “The Exorcist: Believer.”
The 2023 horror film disappointed at the box office even while bringing back the original “The Exorcist” stars Ellen Burstyn and Linda Blair. Sequel “The Exorcist: Deceiver” was slated to be released by Universal on April 18, 2025.
The Hollywood Reporter first reported the news and revealed that “The Exorcist: Deceiver” has been removed from the Universal release calendar. Production company Blumhouse is looking for a new director for the film. IndieWire has reached out to those involved.
Green reportedly is stepping away from “The Exorcist: Deceiver” to focus on “Nutcrackers,” a film starring Ben Stiller, and Season 4 of HBO’s “The Righteous Gemstones,” which he executive-produces. Antoine Fuqua’s Michael Jackson biopic “Michael” meanwhile is taking the April 18, 2025 release date for Universal’s international rollout of the Lionsgate film.

Michael Jackson will be back on the big screen on April 18, 2025 with “Michael,” a biopic directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring the late King of Pop’s nephew Jaafar Jackson in his first major role.
Lionsgate is releasing the movie domestically, while Universal is handling overseas distribution. The film will begin production on Jan. 22.
Produced by “Bohemian Rhapsody’s” Graham King and scripted by John Logan, the official synopsis for the film reads: “‘Michael’ will bring audiences a riveting and honest portrayal of the brilliant yet complicated man who became the King of Pop. The film presents his triumphs and tragedies on an epic, cinematic scale — from his human side and personal struggles to his undeniable creative genius, exemplified by his most iconic performances. As never before, audiences will experience an inside look into one of the most influential, trailblazing artists the world has ever known.”

David Gordon Green won’t be performing another exorcism as it’s been announced that he has exited The Exorcist: Deceiver. It’s not exactly surprising given the negative reception that The Exorcist: Believer received, but this means that the sequel will be pushed back as Universal and Blumhouse search for a new director.
The Exorcist: Deceiver was originally slated to hit theaters on April 18, 2025, but the sequel has been taken off the schedule. After a disappointing box-office opening, the word on the street was that the sequels would likely be reworked; after all, the studios did spend $400 million to acquire the rights to the trilogy. The Exorcist: Believer ended its theatrical run with $137 million; not bad for a $30 million budget, but hardly what Universal was expecting from the return of a major horror franchise.

David Gordon Green is no longer directing Universal/Blumhouse/Morgan Creek’s The Exorcist: Deceiver, the sequel to The Exorcist: Believer. A search is underway for a new director.
The movie was originally set for an April 18 2025 release, but Lionsgate’s Michael Jackson biopic Michael just took over that date, a project which Universal has overseas distribution.
As such, The Exorcist: Deceiver‘s theatrical date is now unset.
Green is currently busy with the Ben Stiller movie Nutcrackers, as well as the fourth season of the HBO comedy series The Righteous Gemstones.
Universal and Blumhouse bought the Exorcist franchise rights for a trilogy from Morgan Creek back in July 2021 for an exorbitant $400M. However, things didn’t go as planned at the box office with the first movie, with The Exorcist: Believer opening to a soft $26.4M domestic and grossing $65.5M U.S./Canada, $136.2M WW.

The rebooted Exorcist franchise has hit another dramatic crossroads as Universal and Blumhouse search for a new director.
David Gordon Green is departing the sequel to The Exorcist: Deceiver as he focuses on his production of Nutcrackers starring Ben Stiller, as well as season four of HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones.
The Exorcist: Deceiver was set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025, but is now unset. Instead, Universal will use that date to handle the international rollout of Lionsgate’s Antoine Fuqua-directed Michael Jackson biopic Michael.
Last year, Green’s The Exorcist: Believer was a major disappointment at the box office. Universal shelled out a huge $400 million for rights to the iconic horror franchise and planned a trilogy of films. Believer topped out at $136.2 million globally, including just $65.5 million domestically.
Ahead of its release, Green himself cast doubt on his return.

Warning: this post will contain spoilers for "The Exorcist: Believer."
As of this writing, actress Linda Blair has appeared as Regan MacNeil in three of the six extant "Exorcist" feature films. She was only about 13 when she appeared in William Friedkin's "The Exorcist" in 1973, and returned in 1977 to reprise her role in John Boorman's truly terrible "Exorcist II: The Heretic." Blair then sat out the three following sequels and prequels, returning in 2023 for a cameo in David Gordon Green's "The Exorcist: Believer." In that film, Regan only appeared at the very end of the film to comfort her elderly mother Chris (Ellen Burstyn) who has been blinded by a demon earlier in the picture. One might also want to count Blair's excellent comedic performance in the 1990 farce "Repossessed" as an official "Exorcist" appearance. Her character was named Nancy Aglet, but everything else in that film synchs up with Friedkin's original film.

Early last year, Jason Blum’s Blumhouse and James Wan’s Atomic Monster joined forces to cook up the clever killer doll horror movie M3GAN, a box office hit, and just this week announced their official merger to become the preeminent horror producer bringing together the brains behind some of the most successful films in the genre of the 21st century.
On the heels of the merger confirmation comes Night Swim. Unfortunately, this one is waterlogged, only proving that making a credible killer pool movie is not as easy as playing with dolls.
Based loosely on Rod Blackhurst and Bryce McGuire’s 2014 four-minute short about a woman who disappears into her movie after a spooky encounter in the backyard, that pair are now credited with the story for this feature adaptation, with a screenplay by McGuire who also directs. When Richard Donner’s The Omen came out in 1976, it was at the tail end of a recent wave of demonic, faith-based horror. Less than three years earlier, William Friedkin’s The Exorcist became one of the highest grossing films ever, and both movies likely got their greenlight because Roman Polanski’s Rosemary’s Baby chilled audiences to the bone in 1968 by showing a mother slowly realize she is giving birth to the Antichrist.
So nearly 50 years later, it seems kind of appropriate that The Omen returns to that initial influence in this year’s The First Omen, a devilish prequel if we’ve ever heard of one. In the new movie, director and co-writer Arkasha Stevenson makes her feature debut after helming prestige genre shows like Legion. She offers an alternative vision from the Rosemary template about how the Antichrist comes into the world. The logline of the picture...

It is that time of year when we look back at how quickly time’s gone by and wallow in our existential sorrow. Do not fret, though; I’m here to help you sort out your distractions. As a self-proclaimed horror aficionado, I have come to you with a humble list of my top 10 horror movies of the year 2023. This year has seen many genre-bending horror movies that have swept us off our feet with their staggering uniqueness and well-thought-out plots. We could also call this the year of reboots, as we got sequels/requels/remakes of some of our favorite franchises (mostly of the last three decades). While some of them were fantastic new entries, others left us screaming “no more” at our screens. This year hasn’t been without its highlights and Barbenheimer definitely topped this list for many. Frankly, these are moments from the films, and that...

There are few people the average person associates with The Exorcist brand more than Linda Blair. The visuals of her demonic form spitting up green vomit, spider-walking down the stairs, and her head spinning around are all the stuff of legend. So when The Exorcist: Believer (read our review Here) was announced as having Ellen Burstyn return in her original role of Chris MacNeil, the general consensus was: Where’s Blair?
I was very fortunate to sit down with Linda Blair to discuss all things Exorcist in anticipation of the film’s 50th anniversary. Linda is an absolute sweetheart and a highlight of talking to her was when she brought up how William Friedkin (lovingly referred to as “Billy”) would always call people whose name he didn’t know: JoBlo. I can only imagine what he thought when this site popped up in the 90s! But we, of course, got into all things Exorcist.

In 1973, the demonic horror shocked and compelled the US, remaining a vital landmark for the genre in the decades since
For horror film fans it looms large like the Lincoln Memorial or Washington Monument. An official city plaque announces that a precipitous stone staircase in Georgetown, Washington DC, will forever be known as the Exorcist steps. It marks the spot where “Father Karras [the actor Jason Miller] plummets the seventy-five steps to his death” at the movie’s climax.
Joggers who work out on the steps might get some company on Tuesday from Exorcist devotees savouring a milestone: the 50th anniversary of the release of a movie that prompted reports of fainting, vomiting, epileptic fits and audience members charging the screen waving rosary beads.

While Universal and Blumhouse were clearly hoping to replicate the success of their Halloween series, things got off to a rocky start with The Exorcist: Believer. The film released to a measly 22% on Rotten Tomatoes and was widely derided (check out our review Here). With its recent release on Peacock, Universal is now readying for the physical media release and probably looking for a silver lining. Heck, there are still supposed to be two more of these movies. So let’s find out if the The Exorcist: Believer Blu-ray is worth a purchase.
The Movie: The Exorcist: Believer may have just been the most disliked horror movie of the year. Much like last year’s Halloween Ends, this movie has been put through the ringer. And while I certainly think there’s an element of truth to it having some bad elements, I wouldn’t call the overall film bad.

The episode of The Test of Time covering Exorcist II: The Heretic was Written by Andrew Hatfield, Narrated by Niki Minter, Edited by Mike Conway, Produced by John Fallon and Tyler Nichols, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
Here at Test of Time, the whole idea of the show is to look at a classic, either objectively through critical praise, box office revenue, or even things like reputation or cult classic status. The three of us, writer Andrew, narrator Niki, and editor Mike like to discuss what we think about whatever the movie is and have fun with it. Shouldn’t this be able to work in reverse though? What about a movie that is seen as bad? Shouldn’t it be looked at through a different lens via time and what we know now? Maybe a bad movie stays a bad movie but what if a reappraisal alters the opinion?...
