I attended the premiere of the film and really enjoyed it. It was easy to relate to the theme and content, presented in a way that not only entertains, but also provokes thought and emotion. Well worth watching!

A great short film by Tom Storey that deals sensitively with the important topics of loneliness and social isolation. I have a big soft spot for films that deal with social issues such as this and to see it tackled with such alacrity by a young director such as Tom Storey is highly commendable. At the time of writing this, the film is even more relevant due to the UK being under lockdown. I look forward to Mr.Storey's further work.

Perfect Match of Emotions

A real modern take on the wonders of how life works and how you can find something where you least expect it. A heartwarming story that is well written and amazingly filmed! The actors couldn't have played their roles any better, well worth watching!

Mr Lonesome is a fantastically produced short film that is a must see for all short film fans. This moving piece follows an older gentleman as he struggles through life on is own after the loss of his wife. I recommend this to everyone, it really is amazing. Really!

Superb Short Film

An awesome story about humanity, great scripting, casting and acting, ideal locations and property (I loved the old Rover), perfectly shot and edited so that nothing gets in the way of the story. Loved it.

Heartwarming but believable and relevant

This is a very well made film . If has believable characters that are cantankerous yet amusing and most people will know someone like them ! The story is relevant to modern life and you can feel the grief of Mr .Lonesome whilst hoping he can find long term happiness. The story of the old car is original and thought provoking . This is very well directed with the subtle yet powerful final scene guaranteed to leave you thrilled

Very touching and measured piece of work

This is a great short film and very poignant at the present time. The film is so well produced with appropriate sensitivity given to the matter that so many have to deal with in silence. I think everyone can relate to love and loss and the main character is some way, a testament to the writing, direction and performances. There's clearly a talented team behind this one. I highly recommend, well worth a watch.
