Fun and emotional

The episode had a lot of different little love stories and stories of good will. The story that I liked best was of the two men, one of whom has dementia. How his partner handles the news is so touching. Made me cry. The two actors did an amazing job. I really enjoyed this one.

Stupid Things in the Name of Sex

A surprisingly solid episode of The Resident here. A little bit of romance, a little bit of comedy, some drama, not too much of any one aspect tonight.

From a storytelling perspective it was not much, but I enjoyed it overall. Sometimes "one off" episodes like this can do wonders for a show.

Weakest episode thus far

Slow-paced and full of random filler material. Doesn't live up to expectations for The Resident.
