A fresh, appealing and unique scent is what makes you apart from everybody else, a quality one can acquire for himself or herself and this commercial by Boss
shows us this idea. A piano concert where all the attendees wear 3-D images so people can create their own imagination while the music takes you there, makes the
main couple played by actor Jamie Dornan and model Birgit Kos set apart from the crowd because there's more than just curiosity, the glances from each other and
sexy appeal...the scent, invisible to us but detectable when both sides are imagining a closer contact. There's something with that fragrance and obviously the
makers intention is for you to discover what really between Dornan and Birgit. And that's how you sell a product. Make it essential.
If James Franco, Robert Pattinson and many other male good-looking actors can do it so does Mr. Dornan can in starring for a perfume ad. My curiousity was beyond the
looks, it was a different way to see something outside of the Christian Grey role. Sure, it'll take time for Jamie to stretch far ahead for the 50 Shades character and
also to develop as an actor since he's more about having a magnetic presence than being a good thespian. There's time for it. This ad shows that he has plenty of
qualities to reach there, or at least to appear in more interesting films and roles. He's classy, got the right expression and moves when he's intrigued by the
pretty woman, and you can sense he play a romantic guy rather than just erotic.
Also contributes for the success of the ad an usual gorgeous cinematography, supported with great editing and the exquisite theatre location (the exterior of the
building looks like something from a sci-fi movie, which hints with the short theme of creating fantasies). And let's not forget the music, not sure what classical piece is played by it's one well-executed. 9/10
