The portions of this episode regarding Gordon were so touching. I have an old dog, too, and I know her time is drawing closer each day. I'll be a bigger mess than Mike. Gordon has been one of my most favorite recurring guest stars. I was glad to see Secretary McCord make Mike stop trying to fix it and just sit and be with Gordon. We are their entire world and when it's time to confront something difficult we should put our own devastation aside to be there so they know that they aren't alone and have been so loved. It's literally the least we can do. (I also love how an episode based on true scientific fact hurts the feelings of so many and then they come here to advertise their ignorance to anyone who reads these.)

Téa Leoni, Kevin Rahm and "Gordon" play a very moving moment - one of grief and friendship; Lilli Kay makes a very interesting appearance as daughter of pastor Eli Bragg, Overall it's really a very beautiful episode about a very sad reality and although people keep on trying to convince themselves that the climate is not changing - God knows why - the episode ends with a sign of hope: maybe things are changing and maybe the new generation is going' to make the difference !

Once again bringing reality to television.

This weeks episode focuses on climate change and the real life problems that it will bring about. There is already tidal flooding in our country and many island nations will struggle to survive. People will be displaced and this is a real problem the pentagon has warned us about.

Continues to try and get us all to wake up.

I think this episode is on point. I can't believe how many people who reviewed this...deny climate change! They're the ones that have their heads buried in the sand.... We're technically having a drought where I live (in the USA) and this is the first time ever!! Climate change is very real and it's important for us to be the vanguards that work to change it for the future...our children, grandchildren etc....

Yet another misleading, highly politicized episode.

In the episode, Jay Whitman said the US is the world's top CO2 polluter. This is entirely false. China is the world's top CO2 polluter, responsible for 28% of the world's CO2 emissions (2018 UCSUSA data).

This show continues to spew made up information, like the claim above, with no concern whatsoever. It's irresponsible and dangerous. This episode just hid the fact that China is the world's top CO2 polluter (by far), and you probably have tons of viewers who wrongly believe the US is now the world's top CO2 polluter.

Further information actually shows the US' CO2 emissions are DECREASING about -10%, while China, India, etc's CO2 emissions are INCREASING +150%.

Madam Secretary drifting way too much to the left

I liked this show initially. But this episode is just following on attacking USA policy week after week. A typhoon threatens a Pacific Island and somehow the writers of this show blame Climate Change and the US as the cause of worldwide climate change. If this was an aberration of an episode, I could accept it. But the writers have been blaming the US every week for every ill in the world. Hollywood and it's leaders have gone off the deep end and turned in to prosyltiziing lefties.

Last episode I will ever watch; just terrible!

This was once a great show but has turned into an America hating bash-fest. The dialog is nonsensical ridiculous rhetoric (not based on real science) and the characters seem out of place saying these absurd lines. This episode was nothing more than preachy far leftist viewpoints that have no real bases in reality. I have watched every episode from the beginning of the series but this is the last episode of this show I will watch.

Total fantasy, blame the US first, leftist dribble. What a waste of time to watch. I have enjoyed this show in the past, when the storyline was less divisive- but this episode sucks. Not going to watch again. .

Done with recording what used to be an automatic dvr. When she decides to quit bashing the U.S. in its programming I may reconsider. ME used the guise of having foreign countries say horrific things about us in order to get the point across then somehow we get to redeem ourselves. Blatant hatred of us and our innate goodness. DONE watching it!!

I've been watching this show from day one. It used to be so good. It has become an extreme, far left soap box. Sadly, this is my last episode. It will be canceled soon due to lack of viewers. Too bad.

I , like many others, count this as the last episode I'll bother watching. Tired of the preachy, anti-American writing. This show had such potential but I'm done with the show tramping on everything - blaming the US for everything, blaming Americans for our views. BTW - loved when Mike told her off - telling her she was a self righteous blue blood. I agree. The characters are vapid and unrealistic. She is so liberal it is vomit-inducing. The dialog is too preachy. And why should the American tax payer shoulder the burden for the rest of the world. I like the main actors, but I don't like their characters. Too many other options for my viewing time.

No man-made Globull Warming

Man can't cause warming of the planet even if we wanted to cause it. The summer of 1992 was the coolest in decades, why? Because in 1991 MT Pinatubo, in the Philippines erupted and sent ash into low earth orbit filtering the sunlight, therefore warming from North America the next summer. Man has no way to do that. The level of CO2 is not causing the temperature to rise as there has been no rise in temperature, in North America, for decades. Both NASA and NOAA have lied about the data used to calculate temperatures, as just readings are not being used for that. The 1930's were warmer and dryer, causing the 'Dust Bowl' in the '30's. The IPCC also fudged their data as emails showed they had a goal in mind and adjusted data to fit what they needed to convince countries to get on board the crappy Paris Accord, which was never intended to either lower temperature or reduce CO2. It was always and only meant to redistribute our wealth to the U.N. so they could keep a large percentage of it
