102 Dalmatians (2000)
A review by my 10-year-old daughter...
My 10-year-old daughter, Alexandra, writes:
I thought it was very boring, and I thought it was just a repeat of stuff from "101 Dalmatians." I couldn't wait for the movie to end. The best part was the credits at the beginning - they were cute and well done. The rest of the film is not worth watching. Thank you.
Frequency (2000)
Wonderful film for everyone
I was so surprised by this thoughtful, suspenseful, intriguing and extremely well-acted tail. Everyone should see what will no doubt turn out to be one of the best films of the year. For those who find the plot holes annoying, remember that this is, after all, a fantasy, whose entire premise could be misconstrued as a "plot hole"! Relax, go with it, and enjoy a fabulous motion picture. 10/10
Lifeforce (1985)
Fun, action-filled, sci-fi/horror epic
Non-stop action and just about every conceivable (and inconceivable!) sci-fi/horror cliche can be found in this blatantly silly but fun, big-budget epic. The pace never lets up, especially in the shorter US version, which tightens things up considerably.
Curse of Bigfoot (1975)
A so-bad-it's-good classic from the '60s AND '70s!
A short (terrible) student film from the '60s is combined with some mid-'70s (also terrible) docudrama footage about Bigfoot and the result is this classic late-night insomniacs' favorite! The "monster" featured in the original flick is NOT Bigfoot, but rather some kind of mummy thing unearthed by a bunch of stupid teenagers digging in an Indian burial ground. A lot of very (unintentionally) funny dialogue and some of the worst acting ever committed to celluloid are highlights of the '60s footage, and make this sleep-inducing film worth watching.
