Predictable
30 July 2000
Not exactly a "bad" movie but not quite a good one either, it was tolerable and at parts enjoyable watch but overall too predictable! Very hard to believe it came from the same director as "Leaving Las Vegas", since it lacked the emotional depth.

Just as I expected from Mr. Lynch!
13 April 1999
This is another film from David Lynch that will uphold my high opinion of his abilities. Despite some poor acting on the part of a few actors, the story is very interesting, and even more so, the expected strange take on directing. I especially enjoyed the "bug" scene from the opening sequence.

Lynch fans, and anyone who cares for disturbingly different films will almost certainly enjoy this one.

A superbly original film!
13 April 1999
This film is a wonderful example in originality. I absolutely loved Peckinpah's direction. The story is developed ever so slowly, the suspense building all the while. Some may find this boring, however it is far from it. Finally it just hits you in the finale.

I thought the way that this movie ranges from the usual pattern followed by films was very unique. Be warned though, some parts are quite disturbing!

Amusing!
5 December 1998
Despite many bad reviews I've seen for this movie, I have found it completely amusing! It would never make it in my favourite movies list, however I think it was well worth what I originally paid to see it in the theatre, and again to rent it on video.

Flawless special effects and great sound, as well as decent acting on the part of most of the cast.

Check it out!

Give me a break!

The only thing funny I found about this whole movie was reading the video box AFTER I watched the movie, and seeing how incredibly GOOD the box tried to make an incredibly BAD movie sound! This movie is an insult to future Jim Carrey movies!
