I had once again watched this movie yesterday and man, what an incredible movie. This is truly Al Pacino's greatest performance since Michael Corleone in The Godfather. This was truly a difficult character to play and Al Pacino had executed it beautifully and he truly deserved that Oscar. All in all, he played a man that was shut out of vision in the real world but could tell from a person just by the scent of the person and his feelings but most of all, it's a film about hope and how you have to live your life to the fullest. just because you are blind and paralyzed, it does not mean you give up. you go on and on.
On a side note, the film had some incredible moments too. The scene were Owen Trask gets the tannish cream in his car was pure hilarious. The tango scene made me feel in awe. This is truly one of those films that would make you bring a smile on your face even after watching it. I suggest to all of you out there. if you haven't seen it, see it. it is a remarkable film. i recommend it!
